If you dealt drugs or know somone that does have them clean off their scale and give it a weigh and let us know. I think it would be interesting to actually weigh 180g 12" LPs and see what they really wheigh, it's vinyl. Does anybody know the tolerances of vinyl, if there is one? Or i they atually enforce a tolerance during the procedure of making an LP???????? Come on now, answer this for me, cite your source and there's a prize for you!

If a 12" is 180g, that would give 15 gram's per inch. So a 7" would be approx 105g (Not 70 or 75g), and the 8" would be approx 120g if it was on "High Quality vinyl." As for the answer to you're question i have no idea, but there's the math part as long as the weight varies by inch. I would imagine it would be close to 15g per inch but considering the whole in the middle and any other factors i would imagine it could vary +/- a few grams.... So yeah....

Yeah, Dillinger Escape Plan has a 7" of live stuff where one side has 2 grooves for each song on the same side and on the other side one song plays from outside in then get stuck in a locked groove and then the other song plays from the inside out and gets stuck in the locked groove. It comes with instructions and everything! aha. It also has a "WARNING" on the instructions peice of paper that not all turntables will play from the groove that starts on the inside of the 7" ie: automatic return arms.

This is a good day, coalesce is one of the few bands of this type of music that i still like as it's hard to find originality in this genre

It is obvious FAT has realized the "Flipping" epidemic going on and is doing more and more to make it easier for people who want the limited edition to get them and drive down the cost of the limited edition stuff. Hence; the no color plus limited 7". If the "flippers" keep this shit up fat may just fuck with us all. I like that they did this, as far as quality goes black is the way to go anyway. BCD i am pretty sure kept track of the "flippers" and did their best to limit orders and what not. I am mainly refering to the melvins delux set. They obviously did a good job giving the blacl copies/100 away considering there has only been 3 or 4 copies on the bay and those people claim to hate the fact they have to sell it. It really is sad that labels have to resort to various tactics to avoid flippers from getting their hands on this type of stuff. Then again, it's very smart on the label's part to be doing this type os stuff, but again, sad it has come to this

CD and Bonus CD came today. No it is not hand written on the bonus CD but it does come in a fancy white sleeve!!! I was in St. Louis when this came up for pre-order and had my dad pre-order the new Strung Out LP and Coaster/Frisbee LP separately and what does he do? Orders the Strung Out LP (Correct) and Nofx CD (Incorrect). I emphasized about 5-10 times to make sure he orders the LP!!!! But nope, i got the CD. I'm sure this is a stretch but if any of you that manage to get multiple copies of the Limited LP +7" of NOFX Coaster/Frisbee i would more than appreciate a hook up. I can through i some extra cash or trade or something. If anyone will be able to help me out just let me know. I will be ordering a black copy of Frisbee - 7" if i have too. I most likely will be listening to this a shit ton and sometimes like to have the black copy for optimum sound, and for when my brother listens to it he doesn't fuck the LP up (as he's done previously). All this talk about downloading and buying the CD /LP. But we have yet to realize how dumb this is. The album is called "Coaster" and "Frisbee." They (FAT) obviously know what the CD and LP is worth, a place to rest your cup and a thing to through because its a world of digital shit now and the only stuff worth anything is the limited shit for us collectors and them flippers (Edit) and the people who will support them regardless of a leak by buying the CD or LP, hell, maybee somone really will buy it to use for a coaster or a frisbee, it could be a good marketing strategy.

It's not on mIRC, i searched all over, that guy's an arse. I know i would never say i got the "leak" of the album unless i was gonna share it with everyone, or see how i could get people that probablly already pre-ordered it all rilled up that i have it and they don't, but that's just me.

I plan on selling these ash trays somehow. The "Glazing" process takes a long time and takes a few coats but allows for the vinyl to actually be used as an ash tray. I will take pictures of all of them (Around 15-20) and see what ya'll think. Any suggestions on price? I was think 15-20 for people on here and probably more if i were to open up a "store" to sell them on. Some of the ash tray's i made came out really amazing and damn sexy. I bought them from a record shop near my work. I hope i did not melt some priceless record into an ashtray, but i'm sure i'll find out eventually.

Yes, i plan on framing this, it is amazing when completed. Virgil, Post away! edit* (I can take a better pic if you want) dandelion, Yes, i have been buying a bunch of cheap colored vinyl and making bowls/ash trays out of them (7"s look the best). I am currently covering them with this "Super Glaze" stuff so they wont melt when you put your cigarette out. I can post some pics of those if you want to see them all. I got those Free 2xLPs from VC and made some cool bowls out of them (The purple and yellow with black splatter). THe Yellow one looks the best. I plan on glazing those too but it is a bit of a process and we are all procrastinators.

Fun stuff - HUGE PUZZLE

I've had this complete for almost a week. I can post some pics if wanted? The puzzle is HUGE 3' x4'. Totally worth the money,defenitaly "High Quality" and nice n shiny, this will be a bitch to frame (Money wise) but is cool as hell and worth every penny. Anybody have cheap idea of how to get a frame this size? I'm gonna get some "Puzzle Glue" for the actuall puzzle.
