  1. Haha, I'm the same way only I somehow have one. I basically did it how Recordnerd would list it (which is why, for example, !!! is first and I put [ ] around the word Various so it goes at the end of the list). Now that I use Excel, I basically do it the same way but have the freedom to change it around if need be. I don't use dividers but would like to buy them someday. - Jeff That's because according to your link, she collects too. Haha. I have mine seperated alphabetically and then chronologically for each band. I need some decent dividers though.
  2. I know the feeling of wanting the physical disc for a collection. Over the years I've stopped organizing anything but my vinyl, so it wasn't hard to bring myself to just download it. I don't entirely feel it was worth buying, but getting it free would be a different story.
  3. I had gotten the free download as well and it was pretty sweet. However, it wasn't until recently that I realized he released Killed or Cured for sale as a double album with the original (Killed) and a rather different version of all the same songs (Cured) which has a much more upbeat feel overall. Once I realized this I decided to buy it. But yeah, I've only ever heard word on Worse for the Wear, though I imagine any of their albums would have great sound on vinyl.
  4. I was dissappointed when I ordered one of the 7" they released with handdrawn sleeves and mine just had hearts all over it. I mean, the concept stands pretty cool regardless, but I guess it just my luck that I got stuck with one of the few not really awesome ones.
  5. It's a New Amsterdams album. It's Latin (and translates into Spanish as well) meaning "For All Life" (it's kind of easy to figure out). That album is strange because it holds a really weird place in my life, as far as the time I was listening to it most goes. I got the banner and large roses about a year and a half before adding the rest, and ther's more to add because it's kind of unbalanced right now. I have multiple nautical tattoos because my dad's family were Swedish sailors...and vikings.
  6. I play mostly guitar. I have: Gibson SG Gothic series, Schecter C-1 Classic, Ibanez Artcore Semi-hollow, Fender 212 Ultimate Chorus DSP combo, Fender M-80 Chorus head, some random cab (One of my friends believes it to be an ampeg due to the white piping along the face of it. He knows too much), a Casio made keyboard from Radioshack and a MicroKorg. I recently just bought a ton of recording equipment as well. I bought a Presonus Firepod (to an iMac) with Bluesky monitors/sub, an AKG perception 200 mic, and theres still more on the list to buy.
  7. I have a Limbeck/MCS 7" that has a really nice silkscreened image on one side with both songs pressed on the other, it might be my favorite. I also like my AFI 'Now the World/Reiver's Music' 10" and Get Up Kids 'Overdue' ones quite a bit as well.
  8. I just joined the board today and I figured this is an appropriate place to start. Anyways. I'd say a short list of my favorites would be: Reggie and the Full Effect - Inside the Dust Sleeve LP ("Under the Tray") I got this at an in-store appearance with a nifty poster. I got the two signed and he wrote/drew ridiculous things on them. It was a great night. Saves the Day - In Reverie It's just signed, and it looks pretty in a display frame. The Get Up Kids - Woodson 7" (/2000) This is just a rather rare vinyl from one of my favorite bands. I'm glad to have one.
