I love the 117d. I bought one of those last summer as a gift for someone. Its strange that it would spin too fast. Generally the speed of an electric motor is proportional to the power. If there's no speed control, its not a bad pot. Maybe a bad resistor? Does it play properly on 45? I don't know if its any help, but I can send you a pdf of the service manual for a 117d.

Yeah, we figured the best way to go about it now is to offer them both on one record in the future for folks who didn't get the EPs the first time around or haven't heard the band before the Red Album. First and Second were pressed in equal numbers, so hopefully the people missing one or the other will sort themselves out as the new format becomes available. More information on this as we get closer to having it ready.

Nope, I couldn't afford it at the time. And yes, Hyperrealist have been saying they'll be repressing First and Second, although it could be next year before we see them. I could repress the two EPs in the original packaging any day I wanted, but we're working on re-releasing the two together remastered on one LP/CD. It will have some re-worked art, but nothing entirely new so hopefully it won't take much longer.

xlovecolouredx - its a one time deal. 1,000 copies, all red vinyl. i'll post the exact number reflecting any overs/unders when its done. altarsofradness - i'm sure they will. i've not spoken to anyone there in a while, so i don't know what the plans are or when, but i'm guessing they'll be on it pretty soon.

I took the pictures down while everyone was busting ass to buy the Isis boxset. So here they are again in case you didn't see them the first time around... Outside of the gatefold and sleeves sides 1 and 3: Inside of the gatefold and sleeves sides 2 and 4: Poster insert: I'll have a ship date for this LP hopefully on tuesday. We were scheduled to start shipping between the 11th and 18th of this month, but as usual something got fucked up. We're back on track now, so look for an update in a couple of days. If you didn't preorder, there will be a handful more made available soon, but not until we're given a date by the plant. More on that soon as well. Thanks to everyone who has ordered so far and been so patient. We had no idea this thing was going to take so long.
