Splatter looks awesome. I am a huge fan and I had not heard most of these b sides or the production demos on the second LP. Great release.

the irony here for me is putting DTMB demos on wax before the actual studio album.
Some of them, not all of them. The original demo had 5 songs DTMB, Slip Like Space, Phantoms Now, All Warm, and Pointless Forever. a few if not all of those demos are better then the re-recorded album versions in my opinion. Ben played all part on those demos.

As I understand it’s a licensing thing. They don’t own it. Unless they re-record it from the ground up then it’s a new piece of “property” altogether they can control and distribute.
my issue is the two awesome albums that breathed new life into a band I had stopped caring about, and how quickly all that forward momentum was abandoned to replicate their sound from 2005. The last album and the ep before were both such a downturn in quality from Thorns. And now re recording their first release ever? Like cmon, y’all were doing something exciting and you’re leaving that for what? Pop punk with some screams again?
Feels like a cash grab to me.

I love this band too and I was so optimistic about their future when pull the thorns came out but they’ve just abandoned all that momentum...
and buddy annoying as hell on social media.
Thats the thing.... It almost feels like a troll move at the old band members to re-release it. Listen, I love there music and Buddy has never been anything but nice to me but the dude is a salesman playing off of 30somethings nostalgia of the scene. I wasn't aware Dan played drums on this.. that's pretty cool.. it is growing on me somewhat.

I ordered from SRC last Friday and mine was shipped maybe a day or two later?
This whole re-recording of this record really strikes me as odd and I haven't seen anyone else talk about it. This EP was recorded and released when the band featured Buddy on vocals along with 4 other members. Buddy is the only member remaining from the original line up that recorded on that album... it doesn't strike anyone else as odd that this is pretty much Buddy with some other dudes covering that EP? Would love to hear what other people think of this.

Crowd straight up highjacked the show twice with those CM Punk Chants... they were REALLY loud during the womens segment.

Does Banquet charge when you order or upon shipping?

Crossing my fingers for a US pre-order.. need self titled to complete the collection.

Had the day off, ordered a pizza... delivery dude handed me my pizza and the mailer with this in it.. all in all a good day!

Spinning my copy from amazon... sounds great love the record.

Pretty excited about this! I can't be the only one can I?

Ordered smoke and got black... honestly it doesn't matter to me but seriously how hard is this shit to get right?
-
Really love the first track.. lyrics overall on this aren't drawing me in at all.. Need to spend more time with this though.

Nope, not happening. Way too much $ for one song.

Raw was strong again last night... I am really interested to see where they're going with Roman and AJ... it almost feels like they're booking Roman as a Heel

This was such a subpar year for RSD releases IMO.. I am surprised that Bull Moose's site is still crashing.

Swagsuke is a blessing. Still surreal seeing him in the WWE.
Man, fuck this. He finally regained some momentum with his face turn and now this. Do a brand split, rotate the roster and give one half some months off. If all these injuries aren't a sign to change things up, I don't know what is.
Seriously it's amazing how many people are hurt.. Loved NXT last night btw so good.

I have a copy of this I got years ago that came with a t shirt... it doesn't sound great and the packaging was odd. but it does the job. Glad people will be able to grab this though.

Indeed there's something about this record that I can't explain where I just keep coming back to it...

Listening to this again and it gets better every listen.

Really love the album. Didn't dig the singles that much but the guitar work on this is wonderful. Maybe I am partial though since I've been a fan since they were playing legion halls.
