Got this piece finished yesterday! So happy with how it turned out.

Missed my delivery by 15 mins this morning. Damn.

My Baizley should arrive on Monday, watched the live set last night, got me even more excited for this to arrive. Normally I'm put off live releases due to crap audio but this did not disappoint at all.

The flipping begins:

I too got my shipping notice from DW EU for my Baizley edition. I got two emails with two tracking codes, which I'm assuming is a mistake rather than free stuff. Can't wait to give this a blast! Now if there's a blood moon live album as well I will be so damn happy.

Most of my pieces are by the same artists, I don't really have the budget to travel around and whilst it'd be nice to book in with guest artists, I don't have the cash to book in on a short notice as being a PhD student doesn't pay well. When I finish next year and inevitably move somewhere else (although I'd love to stay in Edinburgh) I'll look into getting some more variation in my next pieces.

1st of two 3.5h sessions last week on this piece, starting to cover up my first tattoo. Second session early next month, can't wait to get this finished!

Anyone recommend a track or two for me to check out?

Finally I'm close to my next tattoo session (next Tuesday). I've not seen the design yet, but all I know is it's gonna be some kind of gypsy woman. Stoked.

I would definitely have bought a print but (aside from the cost and me being broke due to tattoo saving) I also have a few prints that I haven't framed yet, plus I rent one room in a flat with two picture hooks on the walls (one is occupied by a small Baizley print, the other some shitty canvas my landlord bought). Edit: It's a Bertmer print I have framed, I do have a small Baizley one that came in the set though (Nakatomi skulls print set).

As a massive converge fanboy who has spent over £500 on converge related tattoos (#humblebrag) I'm just really fucking stoked to pour over the packaging like I used to with CDs back in the day whilst enjoying the sweet sounds of one of the greatest albums of all time (imo) being performed live in its entirety. Regardless of your stance on variants and collecting them, as a community of vinyl nerds I think we should all be able to find common ground there. Apologies if that sounds ridiculous, I'm running on an adrenaline high after seeing TDEP.

Well the live version of Jane Doe blew me away, I've seen the track live twice and this completely exceeded my expectations. I was hesitant to buy this album at first as live albums can be disappointing but I'm really glad I ordered now.

Whilst I'd love all of em, shipping would have been hell and I need to save for tattoos. Grabbed the Baizley one before I could start second-guessing myself over which version to order.

If be surprised if they released two live albums in a row, but considering how fucking great the blood moon set I saw was, I'd be all over it. That version of Last Light, oof.

The converge record they've been teasing is almost certainly a new 7" judging by the previous instagram teasers. The new LP is being recorded in spring apparently.
