I just made an order for both of those, and that After Dark 2 poster. First time ordering from IDIB, so I'm excited. Heard it takes them awhile to ship stuff out, but that's no big for me.

 

I would love to find that huge Chromatics Kill For Love poster too. Does someone on here have it and willing to sell it please??

Honestly I loved their s/t album so much that I feel like they're incapable of making this a poor album. If it ended up sucking, Id feel like I lost a wager that had very heavy odds in my favor.

 

I agree. This new album will probably be great. Still debating on the purchase though haha.

Yeah, my clear Poltergeist, pink Drive, and clear Oblivion were all pristine when I got them. Drive was probably the best of the bunch as well to be honest.

Go to The Old Fashioned on the Capitol Square for microbrews. They have like 50 on tap, and 150 bottled beers that are all native to WI. I can't comment on what they have for vegan-friendly foods, but I love that place.

 

If you have time, do a brewery tour. There's Capital Brewery and Ale Asylum, and maybe Sprecher's as well but I'm not sure. I know Sprecher's has a restaurant that I've heard is cool from friends but I have yet to go there.

 

Basically all the record stores I go to have been mentioned already.

$63 shipped with a wasted concert ticket is a combination that makes me say no. I'll wait around for the standard press. I'll also be disappointed when a lot of these will be flipped for $100+

This got me thinking, I wonder if there will ever be a Blood Bros. reunion.

 

It does say, "reunion reissues preorder now!" on the site, so maybe! I'd love it if they did.

I really hope it's mixed better than cd version. I'd also like to see the Our Color Green singles pressed on one release, but that probably won't happen..

I could have bought this in '09 when they played with MTB but I ended up not doing that for some reason. "...I keep kicking myself...."

Same goes for me when I decided to skip a show where they opened for Copeland in '07.... I blew it on that one.

It has similar song structures from the second Bon Iver album with more proggy instrumentation. I'm loving it.

 

I just did a first listen, and I'm so on board with this statement.

 

Going to their show at the Pabst Theater for sure!

I'm excited. The last two 7" have been fantastic and I can't find a proper rip of their first album.

 

I found a FLAC torrent of their full length awhile ago, but it took forever to download. If anyone would be so kind as to hook me up with the 320kbps mp3s of Marikkkopa and Backsell, I'd be reallyy happy 

The Spirited Away variant with the Japanese OBI strip is what I'm after! And as a Green Bay Packers fan, the green and yellow wax is a nice little treat too haha

Tried getting tickets for their Lollapalooza aftershow. Of course, it sold out in a second and I got screwed out of getting any.

 

Lolla aftershows are annoyingly difficult to get tickets for..

Watched this via Apple TV last night. Visually and sonically incredible. Overall storyline was kinda weak, but still worth a watch.

 

Cliff Martinez nailed it in this film. The score complements it so well. Glad I ordered a copy of it.

 

10/10 would watch/listen again

Got a Gremlins print. One of my favorite movies since I was little.

 

Fuckk. Lucky. I didn't realize they've changed their onsale times to the 8am block... Pretty sad I missed this one.

I'm going to try for the Drew Millward Gremlins poster. I love the colors, and the glow-in-the-dark ink layer takes it over the top. Such a cool print.

Side D of this release will be what I'll spin most, I'm sure. The rest of the soundtrack is okay, just more of that standard background filler stuff.

 

The packaging/wax color choice is cool though. I'm glad I preordered this.

I'm doing a first-time run through of the album right now. Pretty standard OST that will complement the film well I'm sure. Adds to my excitement of wanting to see this movie!
