Ordered.
Much love to the label for the LP + Shipping price. They rule.

Anyone have an extra The Avett Brothers - Four Thieves Gone download code from the vinyl? I lost that piece of paper and just want it for the 6 bonus tracks.
-
So is it still possible to order this with the bonus 10", in the U.S.?
Yes. I called my local record store and pre-ordered it through them a few days ago. I would assume most all independent record shops are able to do the same thing. I've heard it's limited to 1000 copies though, if that matters.

Are they going to sell single day passes?

Just got the Oblivion vinyl today! Spinning it right now and it sounds as good as you'd expect

I can't remember from the last time I bought something from Mondo, but do they keep your credit card info on tap (like they do with the shipping/billing address info) to help expedite the order process?

I'm gonna try for TWBB for sure. May the gift of speedy fingers be ever in my favor.

Daft Punk did exactly what they needed to do. Made an(other) EDM album with true staying-power. It's no Discovery, but that album is untouchable. They hyped this up like crazy with all those Creators Project interviews, but I personally am not let down at all. So happy about the final product. Album of the summer no doubt, and a natural shoe-in for AOTY.
EDIT: It's so close to not even being an EDM album. Disco fuckin' revival.

The sub is 182g.
Well hot damn. My black copy is noticeably heavier than my sub copy. I wish I had a scale.
-
I got #47! The sub is also 180g it seems!
Right on! It may be close, but I think the 180g black is a little thicker/stiffer. (oh the double entendre.. lol)
-
Got the 180g. Still waiting on the Sub Variant. Noticed a little fuzziness in spots throughout side A if I remember correctly.
EDIT! The sub variant was in my mailbox when I posted this. Got #48/250. I'm spinning it now and it sounds good. Also, I think the fuzziness of my 180g could've been from static interference.
So happy to have this on wax finally!!

I'd prob go to a Midwest date. I'll have to wait to see how close they get to WI (Minneapolis and/or Chicago is my guess).

Bought x2 for me and a friend.

I was in the middle of PM'ing you for those Park LPs earlier today, then refreshed this page and saw they were sold... :'(

Is shipping within the US for Mondo posters usually $15, or did I just skip a 'shipping options' part and the default is $15? I bought my first poster in a rush to make sure the purchase would go through and didn't look around the web page much.

Albums you took a blind chance on and it paid off?

One time when I was young I had to choose between two albums by different bands without hearing either beforehand, and in hindsight, made (in my opinion) the right choice.
Story time: It was in the fall in year 2000, entering 6th grade. At the mall with my mom, went into a music store (can't remember if it was a Sam Goody or FYE) and she said I could get one CD of my choice. So I grabbed a copy of Godsmack's Awake because a friend told me it was awesome, and a copy of Deftone's White Pony because I recently overheard a few cool 8th graders talking about it.
Not hearing either band before that, I sat there looking at both albums trying to make a decision, and ended up choosing Deftones.
Looking back on that decision, I would say during my formative middle school years, that album did a major part in leading me towards the light of awesome music.
