It's hard picking a value. Who's to say what's worth what? Mostly people go by ebay/popsike and price it a bit lower on here. Lately it seems that people are looking for ebay prices here though too. Also factor in condition (sealed/used, bent corners or wear).

1. CDs are not the same as an mp3 for so many reasons. 2. You own 18 records so I don't believe you support artists that much through vinyl. 3. You argument is completely invalid. 4. Once you stop living off your parents money you'll have respect for people and their careers. Whatever job you end up having as an adult, you'll need to get paid for doing it to live. Musicians need the money to keep going. That's why a lot of bands break up because entitled idiots like you think they are " true fans" even if they torrent the music. 5. Who ever said art should be free? You pay to see movies or go to a museum. You pay for art. Next you'll be saying all food should be free. It's the same concept in your mind

Japandroids - Post Nothing when they first signed to Polyvinyl. I needed a new album for a trip, and they had an instant download if you preordered it. So I thought why not. It became the most perfect summer album ever.

Bands do make a lot from digital downloads. Especially Bandcamp. Also when did people assume that they were entitled to free music?

A bit of an old thread, but I didn't want to make a new one. I just caught up with Batman and Robin, and am working on completing my Batman New 52 collection. Also waiting to complete Before Watchmen soon. Batman Inc. is proving to be interesting as well.
