Fair enough, and I apologize for distracting from Power Trip since they fucking rule.

Still, for a bunch of 15 - 20 year olds, Noisem means the future looks a little more thrashy.

I love this band. They are really the only modern thrash band I can get into.

There wasn't a color option, but the picture shows sort of a maroon colored vinyl.

 

I don't think there was any mention of when these would be shipping, and I also can't remember if SL usually sends out shipping notices or not.

So I was given a tracking number that doesn't work.

 

I have found 2 other people who bought expensive records from this lady and haven't received them. One was given a refund. This lady was quick to offer me a refund, despite claiming to have sent it.

 

Everything points towards this loan scam.

 

Take the refund and walk!

I'm bumping this thread just because I'm stoked to be seeing TBR tonight!

I'm torn on the extra space. I've always thought that was a good idea, but now I don't even know if I like box sets. I think I prefer when I can still access them without taking the whole box out.

 

I don't think I'd want extra space only because it would drive me nuts that the covers on future releases would (presumably) not feature bitchin' die cutting and prominent sombreros.

Here's a sample image of the "They Came From The Shadows" LP from the TBR boxed set plus a funny hat we added just because we thought it looked a little ridiculous. All the jackets are redone with the special Chris Shary touch.

I really hope everybody enjoys it as much as I've enjoyed re-tooling everything and doing a couple of first time ever tried things so we'll see how they turn out.......
