Today went to the record store and got one lonely record:

Canceled my FFX preorder today.

Broke as a joke.

My gf had FFX preordered, but really doesn't play much video games anymore. She cancelled it, but I'm excited for new Metal Gear on Tuesday.

as much as i want this to be true it will be a slight relief if it isn't purely so I don't have to get up at 4 in the morning and go stand in line for hours for the hellish experience that is RSD in NYC.

4am is nothing... Last RSD someone was at my store at about 11pm. I got there at about 1am and was 8-9 in line.. Fucking blows.

I kind of hate shows that require the cc person to get in. I wanted to go see tom waits like 5 years ago and a buddy was going to let me use tickets he couldnt use and they would not let him switch names or anything. Believe he was out the money because he couldnt go.

 

That is the one true downfall to the CC idea.  It's good becasue it will deter scalpers, but it sucks if you are unable to use the ticket.

Tried to get Lana Del Rey tickets today. Immediately sold out on the venue site, but now hundreds of overpriced tickets are on other sites. Kinda bummed

 

 

i tried too. sold out the aragon (in chicago) immediately. i've never seen that happen. and this is a ticketless show, which means you can only enter with the purchaser's credit card. almost makes me want to buy some scalped tickets, grab the guy's CC and run. 

 

Same thing happened to me for Orlando.  I bitched them out on Facebook and they "found" 2 extra tickets to sell me.  Which is honeslty a class act, they could have just ignored me.

That is what I was thinking... Just not sure if I should take a chance and just order one tomorrow, or deal with the aftermarket.

Does anyone in this thread buy multiple copies, and then sell extras at cost plus shipping? If so, I would love to get a non black variant of this.

The January and February flexis should ship next week.

So happy I waited, ordered the show variant!

Wanting to part with the four 7" records that came with the club.  I won these in a contest from the band.  I played them once or twice, and now are on the shelf.  Kind of think someone else could enjoy them.  Let me know.

Why would you need a $100 GA pit ticket if you're going to watch the band from the stage?

The only thing I can think of is you only get to watch 30 Seconds to Mars from the stage.  You need a ticket to watch AFI and LP.

I also was wondering how good the mofi sounded, good to know. I'll be picking up Blue and Pinkerton for sure.

I'm having the dilemma of the deluxe... I know mofi is amazing, but i love extra crap.

Sorry to bump an oldish thread, but would rather not make a new one. Can anyone comment on sound difference in the Pinkerton deluxe vs mofi? I would love to buy this, but would like further input first. Thanks!
