Really wanted that 7" considering how long it took me to get the broadripple single, but im not paying $80.
This proves my point. This guy who really wants it, who is on a vinyl collecting message board, won't pay that much. I think you are safe if you grabbed one within the first 45 minutes or so.

I'm just using the following information:
There are only a few people on this board talking about it.
There weren't that many people on Facebook talking about it/liking it
Generally, only 50-60% of people who like something on Facebook are really clicking links or buying products (I know this from personal and business experience))
Margot "promised" a clear copy to that Mitchell guy, and I don't think they would have done so if he wasn't one of the 50.
Most people steal music and aren't going to pay $65-$80 for music, even if they act like they will on Facebook.
Is there a chance that 50 people bought it before you? Sure. But I doubt it.
-
are you really that confident that 50 people paid $65-80 before you?
-
only deluxe lps are clear
only first 50 7" = clear
-
If you order the super deluxe, the vinyl is clear for the LP. But you can't order it now because the button isn't linked correctly.

Thank you. Just grabbed a yellow wax.

I've been looking for a copy of Not Animal for a while and I was pissed to see that I missed this...
Same here. That is a pretty lucky find for someone.

I think NIN reissues are a long way away. Trent has been talking about The Fragile 5.1 reissue for awhile, and it seems like there are some major hiccups right now.
-
My copy is awesome. Features a big fat guy who looks like Mike Ditka holding a McDonald's cup and some fries.

Considering the color preorders are already sold out just about everywhere I'll wait and hope I can get a slight savings on black later. I definitely want this, just hard to stomach these almost $50 releases.
I bet they will be readily available on ebay for the next year.

Hell yeah, this album is going to be stellar! Ihave a bunch of songs already, solid album.
May I have those songs please?
I will definitely buy these. Hoping for a sweet limited colored option to continue my collection of sweet Margot vinyl.
-
Isn't a buyer required to contact the seller before opening a claim?
-
I think he meant the colored version of Mother Love Bone can't be purchased for half the price.
-
Is there actual confirmation that this is digitally sourced?
-
Damn flippers.
Oh well. I wasn't going to pay $15 plus shipping to the US for these two songs.
-
Very tempted on that Built to Spill record.
-
I might have an extra, but it will be at least a week before I know. There was a little mix up and a friend bought a copy for me at the same time I bought one. He is shipping it to me, but I don't know if it will actually happen. I will keep everyone updated.

I listen to everything I buy, no matter how rare it is. I buy music to collect it but also to enjoy it.

I used Uhaul boxes to move my 500+ records from St. Louis to Minneapolis. I was allowed to take one in our car and the rest went on the moving truck. No damage.
-
If anyone else can find an extra, I'd love it. Will cover shipping and throw in a little extra for you. Thanks!

If someone offered me enough for an OG that would cover the cost of a repress and maybe something else, I would almost always take it. If the OG is a colored version or an album I really really love, then I might not. I was recently offered $55 for my OG of Frightened Rabbit's Midnight Organ Fight. I took it and bought the repress (which includes a bonus LP) for $20. Trying to figure out what else to buy with the money.

Only a month away and this is all the info we have? Let's see what we can dig up. Fantastic album. Listening to it this morning as a matter of fact.

I'm not far from Burnsville. Is this really worth checking out? Honestly, how many of these will be copies of the Grease soundtrack? Any chance of scoring anything good?

Not sure how many people have heard about this, but an organization called Box of Stars is releasing a tribute to Mark Linkous. Lots of great artists involved (Flaming Lips, Phantogram, Margot and the Nuclear So and So's, Mark Lanegan, Dinosaur Jr, etc.). They have launched a support/pre-order on Indie Go Go. Check it out: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/box-of-stars-last-box-of-sparklers-a-tribute-to-mark-linkous
There's a pretty awesome special edition vinyl through here.

I justify it by telling myself that down the road someone will want to buy that clear 7" for $100.
Of course, I wouldn't sell it for $100, but that's how I justify the purchase. By the fact that maybe I could.
