    probably update. If you preorder, amazon will give you the cheapest price it gets to before release. I think that's how it works. Do you think the auto rip will be the remastered tracks or just the OG IKS?

    that makes sense. Let's hope eventually this will not be the norm. I also don't have any good record stores in my area, so I'm going by amazon prices, which is usually a little cheaper, so I'm not sure what record stores are charging these days. I usually buy directly from band/label or through amazon. Didn't mean to come off as a jerk, I just enjoy arguing. We're both coheed fans, let's get along.

    you did say it would probably go down but you also said it would be justified if they did charge $60, which is what I didn't agree with. It's all good now though, hopefully the one at the merch booth is 40 as well.

    Yeah, I saw that. Glad it's settled. 40 for a 2xLP is on the high side but still fine to me, but 60... It's hard for me to say they wouldn't be taking advantage of us. (Says the guy who paid over 200 for an OG press)

    @lorren13 on twitter. I looked at coheeds twitter and it looks like you might know him? He tried justifying 60 for a double LP citing recent kiss, pink Floyd, and nirvana reissues, bands with MUCH larger followings than coheed.

    i argued with a dude on twitter that there's no way that isn't the import. He was swearing up and down it was actually the real thing.

    I don't recall this on the last tour. Copies of ascension and Descension signed were max 25. I don't think they were different signed or unsigned. I have seen them put up things on eBay and emphasize the signed aspect.

Also, the black version is listed on amazon for 60. I'll put a link in a second.     Do people get this riled up over a 20 dollar single record? SOMEONE TELL ME WHY JOYCE MANORS NEW RECORD IS 20 DOLLARS ON AMAZON???? ITS 20 MINUTES LONG!!! THATS A DOLLAR PER MINUTE!!! By that logic this should be 70 dollars.

    Look, I'm not trying to start an argument. Complaining about prices when it comes to coheed just isn't going to get anywhere, and honestly, yeah, 40 is a lot, but they could've charged more, thrown in an autograph and called it a 10th anniversary commemorative edition, charged 65, and it would still sell out. In that regard, I'm glad it's only 40.It's kind of pricey to keep up with this band, but I think most fans would've realized this by now.

    So 60 for an import vinyl is okay but 40 for one from the us isn't. Okay.

    Nobody batted an eye when manchester charged 65 for a regular album + 3 7 inches in a box. 40 for a double album with gatefold and custom sleeves is not terrible guys. Whoever said market dictates the price is right. They would be dumb to not sell it for this much. Plus they are doing everything themselves without a label. If this was a kick starter to get this pressed and you paid 40 dollars to guarantee yourself a copy would you do it?

    I'm getting all 3 to keep my variant collections going. I hate limited vinyl pressings at shows. I want to be in the pit for the show, but don't want to lug around a record the whole time. Might pay extra for someone to pick one up for me at an earlier show.
