My Scott Pilgrim from Bull Moose came today. It was packaged much better than what people have been saying about other stores.

$200 is ridiculous. I would be in around $40 tops.

I put in my pre-order. Sounds pretty cool and for 25 bucks shipped is really reasonable.

I just came here to post the same thing. I was pretty surprised, I was expecting a cancelation notice.

I've gotten a few records around the $50-$60 range. That was at the height of my vinyl ocd collector phase, so I don't see that happening anymore.

I just wanted it for the digital download card.

Ok, I think I solved this massive dilemma. I'll throw both records like frisbees and whichever goes the furthest is obviously the superior copy.

I may be getting obsessive here, but I ended up with two copies of College - Northern Council RSD vinyl. One is near perfect, the other has a pretty badly bumped corner. I'm definitely keeping one copy for good. Which copy do I keep and why? Am I being way to anal about this?

Best:being first in line and getting Far Cry. (You could only buy on title then you had to go to the back of the line) Worst: Nothing, I only picked up a couple titles that I knew I would like.

My copy just came in the mail from my Amazon PO. Nice heavy 2LP gatefold. JUST opened it, and I haven't listened to any tracks because my computer speakers wouldn't do it justice I don't think.

I got Sublime's 40oz to Freedom from them a few years ago. They have a pretty diverse selection in stores, even if it's only a few titles at a time.

It doesn't sound like it's just the inner sleeve, but also the outer sleeve/cover that had split seams. I'd be a little upset if I purchased something marked as new and received a damaged package. Yeah, clean vinyl is really what matters, but it's the principle of the thing. There are PRICIPALITIES involved.

Hmm, I love Songs for the Deaf but am pretty indifferent to all their other albums. I'll have to give this a listen since there are a lot of the same people playing as on SFtD. Probably just get the barebones version if I do pick it up.

I think it was from the Ween forum, someone linked a discussion from here on their Post Yer Vinyl thread. I'm actually surprised it took this long before realizing there are bound to be dedicated vinyl forums.
