What's up with that Hellbilly Deluxe release you mentioned in the other thread? I did a search in this one and there were no hits. I would think you would want that info out there.

Yep, just got notice my purchase was canceled due to "technical reasons". I immediately checked to see if they already listed them at higher prices, but didn't see anything. I'll keep checking back and if they do relist I'm contacting Amazon, although I doubt that'll do much good. Pretty pissed.

I've never been, but everything I've heard and seen says it'll be like sharks at a feeding frenzy. You'll have to let us know how crazy it is to get even yourself a copy. :-P

I didn't want to bump this for nothing, but I stopped by yesterday after work and there were no new price drops. The one employee I talked to said they mark down on Sundays, but who knows. There are literally seven records left on sale, and 4 of them are True Blood soundtracks with ruined jackets.

I really want Looper, loved the film and the soundtrack. I guess I would rather have whatever variant they put out, but I'm only buying one copy. As long as I can get a copy I'll be happy. This variant mania is way out of hand.

I know the 50% off sale just ended, but does anyone know if anything new has been added to their $10 record clearance. I'll try to stop by the one near me tomorrow, but they've always had a crappy selection.

Huh, finally had an auction come up on eBay, I took it for $46 shipped instead of ridiculous $100 BIN.

I picked up the Raekwon album, nothing else. The one near me had an Elliot XO and the David Lynch album, but I wasn't interested. I would have gotten one of the 4 True Blood soundtracks but they all had serious sleeve damage, not worth it even for 10 bucks. They offered an extra 15% off, but I only would have done it for $5.

Funny thread, I actually just checked around for a pre-order of their upcoming album. I didn't like their music at all until I heard them on the Stern show recently.

Cool, ordered through Sub Pop. Shipping was almost as much as the record.

Only when I look through my collection and decide to weed something. Most recently the Red Dead Redemption soundtrack. I only listened to it once since I got it when it came out, checked ebay and was shocked how much they were going for.

The Best of Nick Cave. I got it a couple years ago for a really good price, and it's really a beautiful set with fantastic songs.

On Saturday my mail carrier bent a full 12" to fit inside my regular sized mailbox. It was shipped in a flexible cardboard box, but if you've ever tried to bend a sealed lp in half, you know whatever is in the package should not be bent like that. Also surprisingly it didn't break, but needless to say that is one warped record.

So fucking bummed I missed out on the hand dipped. I just haven't been able to keep up with music as much recently.

I haven't read the whole thread, but I could spare a couple invites to TVTorrents if anyone is interested.
