i understand that too and agree that making mp3s available might make it cheaper and its more than likely a ploy for evr to still make an extra buck on the record. haha i just get biased and too quick to judge when someone speaks remotely negative things about rev or revhq, theyre just the middleman.

without sounding too defensive since i used to basically work at rev, the price thats set on the record isnt in their control. equal vision to my knowledge hasnt done vinyl since bane's last album which they sold for $15 direct from their store. id assume its the same with with this and the cost is higher since it includes the cd.

i dont want to do a pre-order because i think its going to be more of a headache than anything. this is my first release so its kind of a learn as i go along situation. i dont want to deal with the i pre-ordered this a month ago and its still not here emails. there are labels who do pre orders successfully but more often than not when new labels try them they seem to fail and id hate that to happen to me.

thats me whos working on it. theres the long version of it and the short of it. without going into too many personal details im short on the cash right now to finish it up. i have the artwork done, its been mastered, acetate/plates have been made. just need to put it into production. im owed a good chunk of money preventing me from doing this. i apologize for any delays but ill definitely keep everyone updated as it goes further.

this still angers me like nothing else. booked a flight out to ny, had my tickets for the fest, and made arrangements to stay at my sisters apartment. i remember i was getting ready the day/night before the show at her place and hadnt been online a couple days. i keep hearing rumors of it being cancelled and then i get confirmation. had i not gone online i would have taken the train out to jersey the next day only to see an empty arena. after lifetime got added i knew i had to go. i was bummed knowing i wouldnt see them until they added the stone pony show and that was so much better than anything i could have gotten at hellfest.

ive known about this for awhile but i dont really get it. how is it beneficial for someone to order through pirates press or recordpressing.com versus just going direct through GZ? id imagine theirs a markup on that from PP and RP to act as a "broker." basically easier to go through one of the two especially due to time differences and what not.

my torche 10" has it as well... i'm pretty sure that's pirates press. yep just to clear things up a little pirates press and recordpressing.com are both brokers in the US that have the records out sourced at pressed at GZ in the czech republic. both pirates press and recordpressing are more so the middle men when dealing with gz, so those two dont exactly press the records themselves.

each of those records are pressed through GZ in the czech republic so a lot of the splatters, swirls, and smoke versions pressed through them are going to have this sandy/dusty/grainy material on them.

id simply just like to reiterate im seeing them in a 1200 capacity club tonight and im giddy as fuck.

im sure if you have some sort of medical condition youll be fine to eat. its not like youre going to be struck down by any means.
