  1. im not disagreeing with you just playing a bit of devils advocate in the sense that say someone doesnt have paypal or something and they need their friend to buy them a print, then at that point allowing each person to buy two of them would be acceptable. its truly naive to assume that this is what everyones situation was but its entirely possible. it sucks from a whole since its really a damned if you do damned if you dont episode. im sure a lot of the amount they make has to do with how much it costs to get these made. im not screen printer but from what ive heard anything over 5 colors is expensive as shit. the fact that most of these are of larger size and sell for as cheap as they do speaks wonders for what deathwish do to maintain the prices are still as affordable as they can be to their customers. they also tend to post about things either in their email newsletter first which is an added incentive to fans of the label.
  2. i have a jane doe print framed hanging on my living room wall. ill say if i didnt get one id be bummed, not so much pissed per se. buying limited items just tends to be a situation of being in the right place at the right time. with things like this its a total catch 22, people get pissed if its too limited and then theres the others who think its not limited enough. i still wouldnt consider deathwish to be at fault for what the buyers do. also, from my understanding deathwish does a pretty good job of monitoring the ebay auctions and more often than not they blacklist the buyers who buy just to re-sell. in other words, don't hate the player hate the game or something like that.
  3. that sounds just plain silly and pretty childlike if you ask me (obviously you didnt but hey ill throw it out there) much like ryan deathwish has become one of my favorite labels as they continue to get my money with each release they put out. maybe theres something i dont know but how do you think you got the shaft with the jane doe print? pretty cool of them to put the rejected prints up to begin with since there were so many being sold on ebay. they definitely didnt need to do that but they did what they could do to get them into the hands of people who wanted them. anyhow, fuckin trap them. buy this shit. stoked to finally see them live in a couple weeks.
  4. also did them for the blacklisted lp orders
  5. the only thing ive heard of is a bug eyes promo 7" i wish they had the full lengths pressed
  6. i have the jane doe print and the killing the dream print. i dont love everything he does but i always liked the killing the dream artwork since i saw it released and wanted some sort of poster for it and was stoked when he did a huge silkscreen of it. as for jane doe, its jane doe, meaning its one of my favorite albums. both of those prints look ridiculous too. im just a sucker for silkscreens too.
  7. im just nosey/curious what youre trading for the print. glad the doomriders print found a good home.
  8. id do it but my cash flow is hurting right now. youll probably have a room full of bannon art soon.
  9. im in the same boat but i need to get so many other things framed and the no heroes print would be an odd job to get framed. to top it off i dont really have the cash to throw around right now. trade with this dude though and youll probably get hooked up.
  10. my roommate owes me around a grand, which is severely delaying the release of my first record.
  11. if its about emabrace, rites of spring, hwm, elliot, moss icon, evergreen, indian summer, sdre, mineral, and braid then im all for it i think this movie does a good take of what hardcore is/was during that time period. obviously DK and the misfits would be in here if they ccould be. id have liked to see more midwest stuff with poison idea but i understand that obviously black flag, bad brains, and minor threat are going to be the main focus.
  12. only stuff im missing is sawblade, which ill probably never get, and the pig destroyer split that ive lagged on forever. its been a lot easier this year to newer fans with all the represses of the full lengths.
  13. basically pissed myself over what i found yesterday Jimmy Eat World - Static Prevails Boilermaker - Watercourse - black/white swirl
  14. one of my favorite bands. one of the few bands that i have each full length on vinyl.
  15. heres what looks like to be my tour/fest/record release stuff i still have. i tend to trade a lot of this stuff since people tend to go more bonkers for them than other presses. i hate having doubles but it comes in handy at times. 7" ANS/Deadpoint split 16oh Records Tour Cover #135/200 Have Heart Demo Bottled Up Records Clear/Posi 05 Cover I Rise Down 1917 Records Yellow/West Coast Record Release #6/50 In Stride Place of Decay Bottled Up Records Sound and Fury Press #76/100 Iron Boots Easy Green Grave Mistake/Brain Grenade Posi Press/ #35/100 One Up The More Things Change Bottled Up Records Posi Press Screened Cover/#109/150 Permanent/Resonance split Collapse Records Test Press/Sound and Fury Press Rise & Fall s/t Deathwish Inc. 16. i have some tour editions on ebay now.... http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZpennywisem8 just sayin... Sinking Ships, Rise and Fall, Verse, Allegiance, I Rise. i have plenty of others. typically the nicest release is left for the band on tour. im a sucker for screened covers.
  17. throw this on ebay. sold a copy of mine for $95 on there. be sure to include Brand New/Saves the Day in the title.
  18. this has been up for some time. i have a copy i got for $10 on ebay a while back. also this material is included in the 3xlp trl just released.
  19. something that happens quite frequently with records pressed at GZ
  20. although i dont have this new press im going to go out on a limb that it was "remastered" because it was pressed at a different plant than the original press. robo used to press things with erika or united but they press with pirates press now. they more than likely needed new plates to be made.
  21. not mine but heres what it looks like
