  1. 100% positive this is not sold out.  HT customer service has no idea what the fuck they're talking about.  This is the same exact process that has happened with every other HT release that is in demand.  They put in batches as the boxes arrive to the warehouse.

Just keep checking throughout the week.

I recall this being the case for the Circa represses last year due to the shipments coming in late and they had no idea when they would come in or something of that nature, however, I haven't heard anything indicating that is the case this time, though I hope so.

yeah, they're hopefully doing the same thing this time. I was able to get OLG last year due to them putting it up in batches.

Time to get pressin that refresh button again

  2. Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks. Jacket was probably G condition, but the actual record looked practically NM. Not bad for 50 cents.

Picked up a handful of soundtracks for between 25 and 50 cents and all the jackets are pretty fucked and the records don't look great, but they play. The Godfather, The Muppet Movie, The Shining, Midnight Cowboy, Apocalypse Now, Easy Rider. Also got a George Carlin record. Spent probably $5 total on everything I've gotten from there.

I found a copy of the 2001: A Space Odyssey soundtrack and got so fucking excited...but it had like an Engelbert Humperdink record or some shit inside the jacket.

If anyone needs any Barbra Streisand records though, Goodwill is your spot.

    LOL at the Humperdink thing

but yeah, I was actually at Goodwill a few days ago and I came across a few Streisand records

  3. It doesn't seem like a lot of people are digging the new album. I personally really enjoyed it, I thought the lyrics were not literal in a negative way but were literal in a positive way. It showed that songs can paint a vivid picture in the listeners head and be a showcase of songwriting skill. Although I could agree that it sounds the same throughout the album and their past discography, I don't really mind since they do a good job on it. Plus its not like they're the kind of band to jump genres between releases.

  4. It's an odd problem, but I don't think its warped. The grooves on the records themselves are probably messed up in a way where it causes heavy drag on the needle. Because of this, the needle is stopped because of the grooves, which explains why it doesn't spin. In other words, the grooves on the records are really messed up.

Try lifting the needle and placing it somewhere else on the A-side of the record to see if the problem is still there.

Also, a warped record is when the record is slightly bended in a way that it messes up the pitch of the record.
