  1. Sound Stage Direct has listed Marco Beltrami's The Wolverine as forthcoming release, courtesy of Spacelab9: http://www.soundstagedirect.com/marco-beltrami-the-wolverine-soundtrack-vinyl-records.shtml No release date yet, though.
  2. Well, label is Music On Vinyl so I'm sure it's going to be easy to find from other stores as well.
  3. Dawn of the planet of the apes and Game of thrones season 4 coming on vinyl: http://www.newonvinyl.com/nl/lp/soundtrack-ost/
  4. Or a while ago. But I don't want to sell my best sounding soundtracks unless I really really really have to. I enjoy the music too much. Plus, I have a decent soundtrack collection, which I want to keep complete. But if I am sometimes in a position that I really need to sell, I hope my collection has value as much as possible. That's why I would like that record labels doesn't mislead customers with there empty promises.
  5. What's all this "limited" nonsense, what record labels are stating to drive up the hype? I think customers - at least I was - were in the belief that this was limited to 9072 copies worldwide. It has nothing to do with that, whether I want people actually owning this record or not. I think record label shouldn't have stated in the first place that it was limited.
  6. It may be. I don't see large portion of consumers turning into vinyl nowadays. But I don't invest that much as I only buy about 10 scores per year. And like many of us, I like to enjoy the cover art while listening to music. Vinyl is definitely my favorite format.
  7. Isn't every purchase actually investing, whether you buy a car, house or records? Well, maybe I'm wrong. But I still would bet that the record label was thinking only to press 9072 copies of Tron Legacy, when they first pressed it. When they saw more money on the horizon, they decided to press more.
  8. I think record labels should stick to it what they first promise. What's the point investing in music (or vinyl) nowadays when every song is freely available?
  9. That's a little bit of a mystery for myself too. I think music is awesome. Best soundtrack in years.
  10. I like my original too and I have no intention to sell it as it is one of my most precious records. I still don't like these represses as record label clearly stated that this was limited to 9072 copies.
  11. There is a listing on New On Vinyl that states there is a repress coming of Daft Punk's Tron Legacy soundtrack: http://www.newonvinyl.com/nl/daft-punk-tron-legacy-lp.html Any thoughts?
  12. Milan Records announced via spintheblackestcircles.com that they are currently working to release score for David Wingo's Take Shelter on vinyl, expect it to be eerie and hypnotic. Sounds very good what I've heard so far, even though tracks are quite short. Milan Records are having a great year, when it comes to releasing soundtracks on vinyl. Last year they released four soundtracks on vinyl, this year it's going to be many more.
  13. Tron Legacy, Inception, Dark Knight, Batman Begins, Mulholland Drive, Stoker, Arbitrage, Drive, Gravity...
  14. I guess shipping from Finland will cool your interest. Besides, I still haven't heard any feedback from black version.
  15. I kind of hope I would have received standard black version of Gravity. There's faint background noise throughout in my colored Gravity that you can easily hear on quiet parts. And there are quite many quiet parts in this record. What kind of experience others have?
  16. Will be buying X-men, but I'm not so sure about Dragon.
  17. I asked about it from Music On Vinyl about a week ago. I was answered to follow their Facebook-page and webpage for updates. No release date yet, but it should be coming.
  18. I wonder how many Gravity copies they have pressed. There was such a long pre-ordering time and usual Mondo fanatics weren't so excited about this release.
