well, anyone that is on our mailing list knows that we've had a hell of a time with our web service provider, specifically over a webstore upgrade. they basically knocked out our website, one way or another, out of commission for 12 weeks (it seemed as though when they would fix one thing, they'd screw something else up). all of that was for a simple server upgrade, which we wanted to do because the upgraded version of our shopping cart system did two things we really wanted: inventory control and display and the paypal payment check out function.

funny that you ask that. they're actually back playing and practicing together after something like a 2 year break. lance (bass) and hoban (guitar) were actually at the jump start shop/office yesterday. don't know if they'll ever get back to touring, but i do believe they're going to try and write and record a new record.

oh, and i forgot to add, that if anyone is flipping them, they're really not a fan of the band in the first place. no one should have gotten multiple copies, and if anyone ordered more than 1 copy their order was either cancelled, refunded, or we spoke with them through email or on the phone to make sure it wasn't a flipping issue (of which, there were only three issues that were all dealt with). if you see anyone flipping the record, they're not a true collector and only trying to make money they don't deserve off of hard working bands and labels.

xlovecolouredx, what's your order number? send me an email with your order number and info to [email protected] and i'll see what's up. make sure you're looking at all the shipping options before finishing your order. a lot of international customers are ignoring the standard shipping and only looking at the priority mail shipping option for overseas orders. priority mail is a lot more, as well as rounds up to the next nearest pound. krepunk, your order definitely went out because it was the only order from south africa, and i packaged and mailed it personally. it should get there. i have no experience with shipments to south africa. i think your's might be the first we've ever sent there. if you email us with any ordering mistakes we'll take care of everything. we're flooded with orders and emails right now, so sit tight. the limited edition version was $10 because of that very reason....it was very limited. only 50 of them will ever exist in that form. unlike the first pressing version, from which they came (the 50 were an overprint amount), the records aren't hand numbered, and they come with two color hand printed sleeves instead of the full color glued jackets like the first pressing. it's not lame or stupid to ask for more for them, especially if people are going flip them (and other people buy them) at crazy ridiculous mark ups. why should people who are just hawks get that money? they're not doing anything to put out the release? are they going to give that extra money to the band so they can continue to tour everywhere and anywhere humanly possible? are they going to give me that extra money to make up for all the effort and time i spend printing the sleeves and assembling all the records all by myself? what do i do with the money? you're looking at it. every cent spent on jump start releases goes back into jump start releases. this isn't some huge faceless label with posh offices and huge band advances and contracts. this is 1, 2, and sometimes 3 people working their asses off helping bands as much as possible. it's only lame because the 50 we had sold out in 35 minutes. i wish we could have made more available, but then it wouldn't be so limited, would it? the white version costs more because it costs more to make (you have to pay extra for switching colors, even in the middle of a press run), and the fact that we're only going to make 100 of them ever. it's not $10 like the hand printed sleeve version because everything else about the white version will be the same as the clear version.

fuz, you picked a hell of a day to stop by the jump start office. i should have kept that one for myself! i didn't even save one of the hand printed sleeve versions for myself. doh! oh, and for those that are interested in the pressing information on diver, here it is: first pressing 1000 on blue/grey splatter viny that are hand numbered and come with full color glued jackets 50 on blue/grey that aren't hand numbered, but do have hand numbered 2 color hand printed sleevs second pressing 100 on 48 gram white vinyl 400 on 48 gram clear vinyl also, just a quick fyi, here's the pressing info for career suicide: first pressing 500 yellow 500 marble grey second pressing 500 slime yellow/green vinyl 500 blue

the green is more like a slime green/yellow. was supposed to be a normal green.

it was an idea that the band and i tossed around a while back, but nothing has really come to fruition with it. i have such a hard time catching up with the band nowadays with as much as they're on the road. i know they're already hard at work on their next full-length, but when they get back from their current tour in europe its definitely something i want to talk to them about again.

yeah, i have no doubt someone will sell their copy online, but that's pretty retarded. maybe they should give that money to the band so they can keep on touring and making awesome music.

this 7" has never been digitally released and if anyone is trying to flip this version, they're not going to have a copy for themselves since orders were limited to one per customer.

hey guys, thanks for all the posting and feedback. just a few quick things.... 1. we changed the listing because the server got BOMBED with people trying to pick up a copy of the record (hence a lot of the errors). the item was changed to only 1 per customer because of the errors and we got a bunch of emails and even phone calls from people trying to get a copy. if you ordered more than 1 copy we've probably already talked to you already and worked those details out. we're just trying to be fair to everyone. 2. the stock number on the website changes if you refresh your browser because people either purchase the record, or their shopping cart timed out and the item was added back to the inventory amount. what it lists at that particular moment is what is available. if someone has it in their shopping cart, the inventory is updated and decreases, if they remove it or their cart times out, the item is added back. 3. shipping rates are based on actual us postal service and ups shipping rates. international priority shipments are rounded up to the next whole pound, so even though the seven inch weighs like 6 ounces when it's all packaged up, you're paying for 1 pound of shipping. that's not our rule, that's the USPS' rule. so, it would probably be best to order more than one item, or just pick the standard shipping option. if you've got any questions, just drop us an email.
