  1. Dillinger Four! Are the old sleeve versions randomly sent out?
  2. I was thinking about this one since I am buying so much damn music lately, but then I just slapped myself and ordered it. Maybe 5 minutes later, I got a friends request from the folks that are releasing it.
  3. Yeah, my first release was a compilation. I still have a ton of them, but am not giving any more to interpunk if they ever sell out, because after all shipping is included, I get $3 out of an $8 sale. The CD is worth $5 at the most, and that's ppd.
  4. I was actually thinking Sleeper Horse as well. Is it Tin Horn Prayer for the full length or do I just have an ego problem?
  5. The Sleeper Horse split 7" is already out I think. I don't know if they have been shipped yet, but you can get them Vinyl Collective and Ownlife Records (ownliferecords.com). Apparently the artwork isn't very good, but that's because you can only view the real artwork with special 3d glasses that I'm selling for $300 a pair. For serious. Tobin Ownlife
  6. I usually say 12" LP to avoid confusion. LP is used a lot to just express full length album. Long Player. Fat always says LP even for EP's when it's a 12" vinyl. What are they? LPep's? I have never really associated LP with just meaning 12" vinyl. Anyone else have opinions on this?
  7. Kind of wish it was two new tracks but I am still thinking about getting this. It's just a nice piece of art as much as anything else.
  8. I have been wanting to listen to this at home but my turntable broke, and now I'm getting all my vinyl orders in from VC, Asian Man, and Recess Records. If anyone uses the download coupon, let me know how it goes, and what you think of the bonus Sleeper Horse track.
  9. I was about to ask the same thing. p.s. you witty bastards.
  10. Oh, and I did vinyldownloads.com and had 1000 jackets printed elsewhere since 1000 jackets was only $30 more than 500. So if there is a repress I will save a few hundred dollars on jackets alone. After I went through Aardvark Record Mastering, Archer Record Pressing, Jackprints printing, bagsunlimited, and vinyldownloads.com, it came out to a little under $1200 for 500 records. I gave 50 to each band on the split for an advance of sorts, so each record came to about $3 each at cost. If I had not given any away, they would be about $2.40 each. In short, you should print at least 500 I'm guessing, because like everyone is saying, it's not the records that cost a lot, it's the initial set up cost.
  11. Archer Record Pressing actually has some decent prices. I would check them out if you don't use United for some reason. Use Aardvark record mastering as well, unless you want to do a one stop shop.
  12. Pinhead Gunpowder / Dillinger Four split 7" Sleeper Horse / Echoes of Harper's Ferry split 7" Maybe some of the Quincy Shanks 4 way splits with Tricky Dick and the 4 Squares or the Blacknoise Recordings 4 way split with Leftover Crack, Morning Glory, F-Minus, and Bent Outta Shape. Brad lived right down the street, unknown to me at the time, and hand delivered it.
  13. Good to hear. They shipping department on this side enjoyed that as well. It's probably nice to see something like that every now and then when you just look at addresses all day. High fives all around. Tobin
  14. Virgil, Since Josh works at Vinyl Collective I was thinking you could make him put some lip stick on and kiss the Sleeper Horse / EoHF test pressing. What do you think? Tobin Ownlife Records
  15. Maybe just shameless promotion, but my label just did this with the Sleeper Horse / Echoes of Harper's Ferry 7". Available on VC right now actually. I sent it a while ago, I hope it's been received or is at least alright.
  16. Nah, it's got the real labels. I also bought their "Slappy" and "1,000 Hours" 7"s and some people actually pay a lot of money for those, even though you can get them for like $3 from Look Out Records still.
  17. Hey Greg, nice to run into you on here. I will give you a call at some point to see if you are in town to pick up those records. Hope all is well.
  18. So does anyone know where I can get The Broadways 7", "We All Know That You Can Do It"? I saw it on Ebay but it went up to $70.
  19. I don't think I'm willing to part with it for $30. Sorry. Though I don't listen to Green Day or respect them as much as I did when they pulled me in as a kid, it's still one of my favorite pieces of vinyl. The cover is the black and white photo of Mike's foot. I looked up some more info and found that maybe 1500 were pressed and some of them were pink vinyl. So maybe 1000 black, 500 pink. I just don't hear much about this record anymore where as I used to see it on Ebay a lot.
  20. This is more just out of curiosity. I have the "Sweet Children" 7" by Green Day on black vinyl. I think 1500 were pressed. Does anyone know the worth of this thing? I know it is not their first release but I hear it is the most rare of them, aside from other bizzaro pressings of the same thing. I got it for like $30 on Ebay and had seen it go for well over $100.
