    Oh hey, my new job has me in Pittsburgh (Warrendale, to be exact) for a couple weeks off and on over the next couple months. My best friend just started at Pitt this week, so I'll know someone in the area already even if he's new to the area too. Anyone got good suggestions for stuff to do in the area? All I've got planned so far is a couple of Pirates games.

    I quit my job and moved across the country, but I couldn't have done it if I didn't have a place to stay for free (ish) and if we didn't have a good chunk in savings to sustain us. Also, in a couple of the interviews I had, the interviewer was critical of my choice to leave my job with nothing lined up even though I moved for a legitimate reason (baby coming, moved close to family). It all worked out somehow, however. Got a great job and we just got the keys to a house and life is looking great. With all that said... DONT QUIT YOUR JOB WITHOUT HAVING A NEW JOB LINED UP. ITS SCARY.

    I don't know if I'd call the lyric differences "misprints" because it feels like that's just something that could change on the fly... even though it does change the meaning sometimes. I like the spots where there are just scribbles instead of lyrics. Brilliant.

    I've had good experiences with the two chiropractors I've seen. Most recently (last year) I was going every other week or so for my back and for headaches.

    The majority of my regular Wawa experiences were in Virginia, so maybe that's why I still think it's awesome.

    Went to the track at Del Mar a few weeks ago and enjoyed myself. I only remember one horse's name specifically... Ice Cream Truck. I cheered and cheered, but it wasn't his day. Edit: her?

    I was up there for Navy business in '08. Made it through the end of the winter and enjoyed the spring into July. Didn't get to go to the track, unfortunately. I lived in a community on the north side of Saratoga Lake. Walked out on the frozen lake (terrifying). I don't really need to do that ever again. I'll take my SoCal winters.
