bahh i didn't see this post. hahah how much were the revival tour shirts and posters? and again - anyone going to this in philly want to meet up?

how much do you think i should bring to this? my money is a bit tight right now - just want a good estimate. would 50 bucks cover it? i wouldn't go crazy with merch - probably a few cds, any vinyl available, a shirt, and a poster. i'm going to the philly date - anyone been to shows at the church? this will be my first one. do they allow re-entry? what's it like there? if anyone going to the philly show wants to meet up let's do it!

i really don't think - for being from a different country on the other side of the world - yu's english is terrible. i understand him with no problems.

wish i did. they were one of those bands i loved but never appreciated when they were active. now that they're broken up i've grown to appreciate them a hell of a lot more. makes me wish i saw them every time they came through

this. also - does it seem to anyone else like the gaslight anthem are going backwards? in my mind it feels like 59 sound could have been their first record with sink or swim being their newest. i've seen them more times than i can count (seeing as i'm from the same town/city) and while i haven't seen them for myself yet - i will on the rise against tour, though - it seems like they've toned down the intensity of their show and brian's doing this weird vibrato-ish type thing with his voice that i'm finding annoying (from videos on youtube) we shall see!

it won't be a month for me - but it's a good 2 or 3 weeks. i think by that point pretty much everything will be gone haha fucking sucks.

i'll have to agree with this. but i also have to say that i used to feel a bit put off by green day wearing girls jeans and eyeliner. i thought they really had something with the maturity they showed (for the most part) on warning - then they come back cashing in on the trends. last band on earth i thought would do something like that. oh yeah - and 'scattered' off of nimrod is a fucking fantastic song.

why? because it "de-values" the originals? if you're so worried about the value of your records and if you're pissed that some awesome records will be made available for those who may have missed out the first time, then i'm afraid you've gotten into this for the wrong reasons. who's to say who should and who shouldn't own a record?
