    Slow day at work, so I'm working on my next beer recipe. Have my brew day scheduled for Saturday with a buddy of mine, so I've got to get my shit together. I'm planning on making a SMaSH IPA using Citra.

    Trust me...I would have done more if it were possible. The nice thing about everywhere we stayed was that the breweries were all walkable. Everything was so close to one another in Bend and we were 1-1/2 blocks from Caldera in Ashland. I just strapped the baby on and we walked from place to place and had appetizers/beers, dinner/beers, desert/beers. My oldest is so used to it that he gets excited for the next place.

    I was just there with the family a week ago. We did a road trip to Seattle to meet up with some friends and their kids. We also stayed in Bend, on the Oregon Coast and Ashland. I got to go to the house from Goonies when we were in Astoria.

    It might have just been the coffee. I've heard it's a natural laxative. That typically causes things to come and go pretty quickly.
