I only picked up three record store day releases: 311 s/t, joy division, and the cure/dino jr and they are all great

But my favorite has to be 311 as its one of my favorite albums, it sounds great, and i went to 6 stores to get it

I own the 2LP 45 RPM and it is fucking amazing

So here's a story. Last year I was third in line and there was a dude who got to the store at 3am (they opened at 8) all because the only thing he wanted was the DMB live box set. So right before they open, the owner comes out and explains that they only got one copy of it in and they decided to "hide it" in the store. Probably one of the most fucked up things ever. The guy luckily got it because the whole front of the line helped him out in looking for it, but they legit hid it in a dollar bin nowhere near the rest of the RSD stuff.

on bf2013 i took a long drive to redscroll records in fear that my store wouldn't have what i wanted... redscroll didnt have one of them so i went to mine when it opened much later in the day and they had all of the things i wanted, so i wont make that mistake again
