  1. Someone on Ryan Adams Archive said it was indeed UK pressing. I'ma have to import a copy
  2. I got: Whiskeytown/Neko Case 7" Some Julie Doiron live sets (bootleg trading) A post card from Phil Elverum for my fancy people adventure submissions
  3. This is strange. I know a lot of people on Ryan Adams Archive have been having a lot of problems with warped red vinyl, but I doubt they could get new pressings out that fast...
  4. I got my Mountain Goats Kaki King LP yesterday
  5. Someone just posted this in the ebay thread: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120331046979
  6. The best buys in Washington have no vinyl. At least not the ones North of Seattle (Lynnwood, Everett). Except I did see the (New?) Elton John record there. It was the only lp in the store. I think that is more strange than best buy having a lot of vinyl.
  7. Yeah. No doubt it looks way better than the cd version.
  8. Did anyone else get theirs? I like the songs on the bonus 7" a lot.
  9. It's definitely bigger than my collection.
  10. My Morning Jacket - Evil Urges Conor Oberst - s/t Karl Blau - Nature's Got Away She & Him - Vol 1
  11. Most auctions I see do show that sealed vinyl (if they were sealed) are more expensive than opened. For instance: Ryan Adams "Love is Hell" 2x10" usually goes for about 100 (on ebay) and there was a sealed one that just went for 200 (on ebay).
  12. Better yet go here to see who he's playing with: http://www.conoroberst.com/tour/ off the top of my head he played: eagle on a pole gentleman's pact corina corina cape canaveral get well cards lenders in the temple milk thistle a song by their guitarist some paul simon cover don't want to die (w/ Jenny Lewis) I think he played these (really cant remember): nyc gone-gone souled out!!! sausalito
  13. I agree, Conor was hit and miss. Some I really liked, some I wish they could have skipped. Jenny's new (acid tounge) stuff sounded great live, and the old songs with the new band were sounding great as well.
  14. They were 20 bucks at the show last night. I was going to try and get 4 copies but I only brought 60. Sorry I couldn't get any for people on here.
  15. I managed to grab 3 at the show last night, one for my girlfriend, one for me, and one for my friend. They were selling only one per person, but we got someone to pick up another one for a friend. Edit: Oh yeah, and they are selling 17 of them per show. Last nights sold out by the end... But we were at the end of the line getting in and still managed to get 3.
  16. I think I read on the Ryan boards that there are about 4000 on red. Not quite that limited, but could be when it goes out of print.
  17. I bought of Montreal - Skeletal Lampings Radiohead - Kid A At Easy St the other night. To my surprise the Whigs were doing an instore. It was pretty cool.
  18. I got my girlfriend into collecting records. She only collects what she really likes though. I mean I do too but she isn't as adventurous with checking out new music. But we have an awesome Ryan Adams collection together, which is really awesome. I'm sure she thinks I go a bit crazy spending so much on records but sometimes I bring back stuff for her.
  19. No way. I got it a long time ago. Before I even knew about scab dates, or frances the mute. I remember buying it that winter of 2003 for a friend for Christmas. And I picked it up for myself earlier. Gold Standard Labs says: GSL75 The Mars Volta De-Loused in the Comatoriuim 2xLP Year: 2003-2006 Color /format: silver 12" (approx.10,000 produced)
