CIRCA SURVIVE - JUTURNA VINYL ON SALE (FOR REAL!)
mrstripe replied to scottheisel's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I was going to do that (and or for trading purposes)... but I didn't... (but it would have been a good way to make some money.) -
I got one with the lyric book. Well I had to order the lyric book separate, but the lyric books were supposed to come with the LPs when they first made them.

What is a good brush for getting dust out of the grooves? -

actually one of the chief complaints I have seen people have about deadformat is that they enter information and wait and wait and it doesn't go in forever if at all. this was made as a way for everyone to be able to see instant results from what they do and edit misinformation they see without having to contact someone about it. but good for you with your clever comment Yeah, I tried to add some stuff there twice (the same 7")... and nothing. It'd be nice to actually have a good place that you can edit, but I don't want to input a ton of stuff either. So that part sounds like a lot of work. Edit: Are you going to make it so you can put up pictures? -
Usually direct from the artist's site, or label. Also at these stores in Seattle: Sonic Boom Easy Street

Very cool. I really can't believe how much goodluck I've had finding some of Julie's stuff. Hopefully there are more Canadians around here, that may have stuff.
-
Bummer, there was just the blood brothers/milemarker split on vinyljunkies a while ago. Gone now though.

Thanks for the post. Did you have a lot? I got the Too Much 7" for cheap on ebay. I have been checking ebay daily lately.

Want These: Heart and Crime LP Do you remember what you said when you said you would not forget? 7" Nora 7" and this Stereo Mountain - Julie And The Porthole To Dimentia I know some of this may be a bit crazy but somehow I've managed to find "Loneliest in the Morning" LP at half price books for 4 bucks, and "Broken Girl (original)" sealed for 8 bucks. Might be interested in Eric's Trip, but I'm probably too cheap for it.

oh i see, so you just place the needle at the "bottom" of the record on the grooves and it'll just play for you? -
Oh ok.. jeez I feel stupid now.

I use dvd shrink. I like it a lot.

Hope this isn't a stupid question but.. How do you view that page?

That store has some pretty cool stuff. Look at this one: 24. Golden Boots - EV/Coyote Deathbed Surprize LOTS OF OPTIONS ON THIS ONE! Throw Mutations-era Beck, The Monkees, and Gram Parsons into a blender and you would get something roughly equivalent to Tucson, AZ's The Golden Boots. This is a double EP 12" that is comprised of Coyote Deathbed Surprize tour-only EP, and the EV ep, which was originally intended to be released on the Trust Series. When I received those tracks, I couldn't, in good conscience, allow there to be only 25 copies. I feel that way with a lot of the lathe cuts I release, but this one was just TOO GOOD! So here it is. On top of all that this record has a couple of very peculiar qualities: SIDE A - PLAYS FROM THE INSIDE OUT! SIDE B - HAS DOUBLE GROOVES that run parallel, meaning that if you put the needle down on the lead-in groove, you will play either the odd or even grooves, and each set of grooves has a different set of songs. Songs: Side A: Ancient Buried City, West Nile Isle (Dictaphone Buffett Version), Ghost Machine, Days are Night, Slangin Family Ties Dub. Side B: Evil One, Everything, Evil Eye, Everytime. Are there turntables that can play albums backwards? -

DAVID BAZAN CHRISTMAS SINGLE SERIES CONTINUES!
mrstripe replied to ygolordned's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Bought 2 white for my girlfriend and I. Unfortunately I don't have any other Bazan/Pedro vinyl. I have missed out on so much. -
I can't think of any besides those. I'm not sure though. He plays on some of "Mount Eerie's" records, like black wooden ceiling opening 10" but he is playing guitar, and it is Mount Eerie's "organic hardcore/metal" album. A bit heavier stuff than Jason Anderson. Edit: http://www.discogs.com/artist/Jason+Anderson

Ah, I missed out. Hope someone else grabs some extra. Hoping I can snag one of Juan's.

Recently I bought: Little Wings "Soft P'wer" Clear lp Thanksgiving "In the Lake" 7" of Montreal "Id Engager (Mad Decent Remixes)" 12" the Microphones "Singing from Mt Eerie" 10"
