Anyone receive their preorder through TC? I read an Instagram comment that seemed to imply that they’re not shipping for weeks yet.

Beggars: $115
or: $225 for both

amazon.ca is saying May 3rd...
Has anyone got a shipping notification for Red Sky from SRC?

What in the world is "hi-melt" colored vinyl?
-
My copy showed up today. #731. I’ve gotta say, and I’ve only gotten a chance to listen to Fire and Water, I think the OG sounds better. The highs on Fire are essentially non-existent, and the bass resonance on The Whaler is overbearing and sounds like a flagalating uterus. I am elated with the packaging and the colored variants, though.

Did any of you get some sort of other confirmation from either sandbag or Thrice after you completed your order besides a paypal receipt? I didn’t, and I still haven’t received a shipping confirmation.

The band said the initial 2000 would ship before the secondary extension which does suggest they're at least closer to completion if not entirely ready to send out.
When and where did you hear this?

Anyone have an extra copy of either of the splatter variants that they'd consider parting with?
-
Presumably this never happened. Why though?

He was talking about his own post going through twice. He did not preemptively complain about you posting something similar an hour later.
I'm losing my mind. I'll see myself out lol.

Why double post, Why?
I'm sorry, I didn't see your post. I was on my way out the door this morning and saw their post on Facebook; thought I'd share.

Anyone recall how much the bee zip-up hoodies cost?

Can anyone verify that Thrice has still had tour variants at the last few shows (i.e. NYC, MD, The Norva, etc.)? I thought I saw someone say a page back or so that Dustin said they were gone

Did you guys get a shipping notice for this? I haven't heard a thing. Their website won't work and they haven't responded to any emails. Wondering where my copy might be.
Wondering the exact same.

Well. Got some good news and bad news.
Last night in Orlando, halfway through their set, Dustin made a comment about the new record and how they're all sold out of the vinyl now but still have CDs available. Additionally he says they ordered a new repress to have with them.
So I guess they really didn't limit they sold last night, they completely sold out altogether.
Thanks for the heads up. This is ultra-unfortunate, though. I really hope they've got said repress at their Chicago date.

You weren't kidding. That C/D really does look like shit lol.

Giant seam splits on mine as well. And yes, this variant looks nothing like the mock ups. Disc 1 is kind of nice looking, an orange inside of red. Disc 2 though, is probably the ugliest record I've ever seen. It looks like those opaque multi color LPs from the early days of vinyl. Like a bunch of melted crayons mashed together.
Pics or it didn't happen

It's been awhile since ordering this. I almost forgot! Can't wait for that sun variant to show up on my doorstep.
These should be shipping soon, no?

Someone was saying there were people walking around with 5+ copies at the show last night.
This makes me hurt inside. Real bad.

Looks like they've finally liberated themselves from playing Deadbolt EVERY show. Good for them.
P.S. I do like that song, too.

Can't unquote this bit above me, sorry!
Anyways: I bet if they called this variant the "Hurricane Tour Variant" people would like it more.

Received the smoke I ordered... phew. Truly, my heart's out to those of you who got shafted.
One thing that hasn't been discussed, at least not that I've seen, is the sound quality of the record. Those of you that have spun it already: how does it stack up to the sound quality of their previous releases (i.e. the most recent repress of Vheissu, and the 180g The Illusion of Safety, for example)?

I know I saw at least one record store on eBay selling smoke variants. That got me thinking that maybe they received those instead of the standard retail. But I haven't seen any others.
WEAK. This is quite literally the only band that I care enough about to get upset over shit like this. Ideal scenario: do a 2nd press exclusively for those who ordered smoke and send them an ACTUAL "smoke" variant fo free!
