Saw these guys in Utah, and went again to the Richmond show just for these guys. They put on a great set, hope all is well and sorry for any one who's gonna miss them in the next few dates.

I completely forgot I preordered Alien a few months ago until I got a shipping notification yesterday. Kinda wish I canceled it and used the money for Middle Earth, especially after reading some less than flattering things about it. Oh well, I'll report back once I sink my teeth into it.

I hope you are all wrong. I didn't drop $40+ for the fucking water bubbles package for this record to end up being awful. Chewing Ghosts was a jam, it gave me hope for this release.

Tony Talbert's tattoos are some of the cleanest I have ever seen and his use of color is just brilliant. I really should set up an appointment with him while I live nearby.

So, I just upgraded to a Uturn Orbit from an ATLP60 but I have it all plugged in to some awful Logitech computer speakers. I'm looking into buying a pair of Micca MB42X with a Cambridge Azur 551P  and a Dayton Audio DTA-1 amp. Would this be a solid setup? I don't really have much room in my budget to move beyond this, but I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions. 

Yeah! I'm digging the constant stream of Sorority Noise releases. Forgettable was awesome so I'll happily continue throwing money at them for more.

Saw these guys last night and snagged a tour cover copy. It's basically like the Every Time I Die alternative cover, just a thick card stock paper over the standard cover.

Bought one. So happy to have a physical copy of this! This is currently tied with Guilty Of Everything as my AOTY.

My favorite thing about the end of summer is dusting off and donning my fall wardrobe. Cardigans and sweaters are easily my favorite things to wear.

Sorry I can't help, Woe, but I just wanted to say I'm in love with Ringo Deathstarr at the moment. "Drag" has been on repeat at least one daily for the past week.

I'm getting a dagger and rose on my shin pretty soon here, and the one thing that's been lingering in my mind is how it would look covered on hair. I've basically decided to simply trim it just enough so that the tattoo would look clean and clear without the leg hairs looking noticeably trimmed. I don't know, my calves are relatively hairless so I might just go there.

While we're on the subject of bands like My Iron Lung and State Faults, Worthwhile is another awesome band that I never hear anyone talk about. You can tell by my username that I like them quite a bit.

Around is a gorgeous record, and it is what got me into Whirr. I still listen to it at least once a week. That being said, I couldn't get into Pipe Dreams or Distressor as easily.
