  1. I know this has been previously posted, but... From OLI--

In celebration of Björk’s mid-career retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the release of the Björk: Archives book, One Little Indian is reissuing the Björk vinyl back catalogue, and for an exclusive period the vinyl will be coloured to the hue that personifies that album character. After 5000 copies all albums will revert back to black vinyl.

Available exclusively from the One Little Indian Shop here!

    - maybe it's time limited, but their copy sure doesn't read like it-

  2. Because I don't have a lot of money I got Vespertine. I literally ordered Homogenic on Amazon hours before I found out about the limited edition :(. This is great though because I just discovered björks music a week ago and I've loved both homogenic and vespertine. Also I'm happy with my selection because it seems to be hard to find an original pressing of Vespertine for a cheap price. Anyways, I understand vespertine is going to be white, but is there going to be any other colors on it, like maybe gray or black?

Vespertine and Homogenic are my two favorites- good choice. I did the same as you and ordered a copy of Homogenic from amazon a few days before this was announced, haven't received it yet, but it shipped before this announcement. So... Ordered a colored one anyway. Don't think anyone really is sure on the colors- Enjoy getting into Bjork and welcome to VC.

  3. Received my copy yesterday. Very heavy vinyl leads to shitty seamsplits. Otherwise a very pretty record.

Norman records has it online for about the same price shipped, but with them you can have them take the record out of the sleeve for shipping. Might help with those splits. Half my Amazon records have seam splits, so I've given up on caring about it.

  4. Thankfully this fantastic sounding boot was released a few years ago, but you're right, I doubt we will see anything officially released

Ordered a copy off ebay after seeing this post- it's really a great bootleg. Great sound quality (for an unofficial release) on a nice blue vinyl. Really digging it, not too much new, but cool spins on some favorite songs. Thanks for turning me onto it.

  5. Waterloo is the big one. End of an Ear is pretty great too and worth the visit.

This thread has a lot of suggestions in it for food and things to do - http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/94445-austin/

Yeah, Waterloo is my absolute favorite, great store in a great part of town. End of an Ear is smaller, but still good. They are 5 minutes away from each other, so totally worth visiting both. Waterloo has taken a ton of my money over the years, love that place-

  6. yeah that's me! I played drums on one track. they're currently writing a new one, and the singer is in kestrels as well who are working on a new record also, being mixed by brad wood right now actually!

Cool- I knew you were mixed up in all that somehow- Kestrels is great too, definitely worth checking out
