Has anyone who bought pinkshinyultrablast been able to get Shelflife records to send the mp3 's using the email and code from inside the album? After 3 weeks I also emailed them at their "info@...." and no reply.
Any help appreciated!
Took about a day or two- but mp3@shelflife got back to me with the link

HHV sells a ton of bootlegs- are you sure this isn't the same bootleg that's just popped up everywhere?

Von is in stock in the US XL store. Only place in the US that is selling it AFAIK.
Besides Amazon?

Blue and black splatter vinyl from Outer Battery Records out now. Out of 300.

Got this in the other day- looks and sounds great!

Another deluxe here with such a weird, severe warp that the needle jumps and causes an infinite loop. Only tried one disc- then emailed SubPop. Bummer for a $41 record.

Got this in today- really like it- definite shoegaze vibe, a little bit JAMCish at times. Thumbs up.

I know this has been previously posted, but... From OLI--
In celebration of Björk’s mid-career retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the release of the Björk: Archives book, One Little Indian is reissuing the Björk vinyl back catalogue, and for an exclusive period the vinyl will be coloured to the hue that personifies that album character. After 5000 copies all albums will revert back to black vinyl.
Available exclusively from the One Little Indian Shop here!
- maybe it's time limited, but their copy sure doesn't read like it-
-
these popped up on Amoeba for ~$24 each, so I might grab them there (at least the first 3).
This is annoying since OLI says the colored copies are exclusive to their website.

Because I don't have a lot of money I got Vespertine. I literally ordered Homogenic on Amazon hours before I found out about the limited edition . This is great though because I just discovered björks music a week ago and I've loved both homogenic and vespertine. Also I'm happy with my selection because it seems to be hard to find an original pressing of Vespertine for a cheap price. Anyways, I understand vespertine is going to be white, but is there going to be any other colors on it, like maybe gray or black?
Vespertine and Homogenic are my two favorites- good choice. I did the same as you and ordered a copy of Homogenic from amazon a few days before this was announced, haven't received it yet, but it shipped before this announcement. So... Ordered a colored one anyway. Don't think anyone really is sure on the colors- Enjoy getting into Bjork and welcome to VC.

Well, went to go back and buy the 3 I didn't originally order, and it looks like they increased the prices on all of them, single discs to £14.99 and 2xLP to £19.99. Pretty irritating. Looks like I'll be short Volta and Biophilia, because £19.99 plus £6 shipping is tooooo much for me. Sucks.

If any US folks are interested, I'm in the process of getting a few of these for my distro - I'll post here when they come in.
I'm definitely interested.

Received my copy yesterday. Very heavy vinyl leads to shitty seamsplits. Otherwise a very pretty record.
Norman records has it online for about the same price shipped, but with them you can have them take the record out of the sleeve for shipping. Might help with those splits. Half my Amazon records have seam splits, so I've given up on caring about it.

Ordered. Sounds pretty good to me.

Thankfully this fantastic sounding boot was released a few years ago, but you're right, I doubt we will see anything officially released

Ordered a copy off ebay after seeing this post- it's really a great bootleg. Great sound quality (for an unofficial release) on a nice blue vinyl. Really digging it, not too much new, but cool spins on some favorite songs. Thanks for turning me onto it.

More dream pop than shoegaze- but this new Suburban Living sounds pretty good-

The Black Lamps - s/t

I like this, but $30+ shipped to the U.S. is too steep for me

Thanks! Sounds pretty good- ordered.
-
Where did you order from? Thanks! Went ahead and ordered that grey!
Edit: figured it out- I didn't catch that there were 2 7", a demo and follow up- now I get it.

Yall think so? i usually find records cheaper then cost at waterloo..or at cost..
Agree- I think the pricing is pretty good for brick and mortar, it's not Amazon pricing- but I don't mind. It's a good shopping experience, nice staff, and good selection with a nice mix of bootlegs too.

Waterloo is the big one. End of an Ear is pretty great too and worth the visit.
This thread has a lot of suggestions in it for food and things to do - http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/94445-austin/
Yeah, Waterloo is my absolute favorite, great store in a great part of town. End of an Ear is smaller, but still good. They are 5 minutes away from each other, so totally worth visiting both. Waterloo has taken a ton of my money over the years, love that place-

yeah that's me! I played drums on one track. they're currently writing a new one, and the singer is in kestrels as well who are working on a new record also, being mixed by brad wood right now actually!
Cool- I knew you were mixed up in all that somehow- Kestrels is great too, definitely worth checking out

I don't think this has been posted- but, Venera 4 has their new album up for preorder through bandcamp- shoegaze/dreampop from Paris. Their first 7" and EP were both really awesome too- so makes the bundle a really good deal-
