  1. May be time for me to expand off of No Energy, finally. Thanks for the heads up.

You can still get them for around the same on Amazon. I just got Kid Is Gone for $34 shipped.

So I was just looking for any info on the final set yesterday but came up empty handed, only to see this thread bumped today. Of course me dreams were crushed when I opened the thread, but i guess i'm happy if more people get into this band.

    Same but worthy bump nonetheless.

  2. Anything in particular? I've been doing saga, east of west, and sex criminals lately.

I collect TPBs and some manga mostly. I've been buying the Saga TPBs as they come out but thinking about switching to single issues because waiting six months to read more is killing me. I've also been buying the Sandman Overture single issues plus the special edition black and white ones as they come out.

  3. I'm too lazy to start a new thread.  Here's what they have planned next.  A few are already known.  I'm stoked for the Khanate and Harvey Milk releases.

    Botch - vinyl box set,

Cave In - White Silence LP repress

Harvey Milk - Life... The Best Game In Town 2xLP repress

    Khanate - Things Viral 3xLP,

Old Man Gloom - Seminars I-III,

Awesome, I'm going to buy those all.

  4. I do data entry and am able to use headphones at work all day, but I usually find myself listening to stuff like Botch, Converge and Julia. Lots of These Arms Are Snakes lately too. I listened to a lot of instrumental stuff at first but the louder stuff helps me block out annoying noises on my office floor a bit better and I pay too much attention to instrumental music while working.

  5. To each his own. I think that anyone expecting something that resembles EITS or Eluvium would probably walk away disappointed; not that this was necessarily the case for you, but I found that it worked best to put on with no real expectations. Outside of beatiful soundscapes, that is.

Yeah, it's more just personal taste and not that I think they are bad or anything. Just something about it that didn't do it for me and didn't have me coming back. I feel like the past couple Matt Cooper releases are like that for me though.

Either way, not trying to derail too much. The new song sounds good.

  6. Can were more like definitive to shaping music after their time. Such a crucial band.

Sorry, should have clarified that I mostly meant defining in the sense that when I think of kick ass bands from that era, they are up at the top for me. My fault. I understand how their popularity has risen more over the years but still thought I would toss their name out there.

I love Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath too, but for the sake of the discussion at hand, Led Zeppelin > Black Sabbath eternally.
