I feel like the guitars are too compressed on the recording itself for it to ever sound that good. This album has some of the strangest production I have heard.
-
HAHAHA. The lack of self awareness some people (this band) have is mind blowing.

did anyone manage to get the sleeves back in the jacket without fucking up one of the corners (of the sleeves)? unfortunately, i did not.
I did the first time but not when I listened to it again yesterday. I wanted to listen again today but I didn't want to go through the frustration of getting them back in. Maybe another day.

Step 1: Log onto ebay
Step 2: Sell on ebay
??????????????????????
Is it a rare Fall Out Boy record or is it now an even rarer Gary Clark Jr. record?

Everything about this leaves much to be desired. Oh, Melvins...
Aside from it being a widely distributed Melvins record, yeah. I can't wait for those reissues now.

That New Year's resolution didn't last long. Dang, thanks RE.
Right when I told myself I wasn't going to buy any records for a while. Ugh... Ordered.
Ha, I'm in the same boat. I didn't want to buy any records until I paid my new speakers off but this album rules and that blue is beautiful. I'm glad this happened though, so not complaining. Now to not buy any more records for a while...

Deepdiscount has some good prices on these right now with an addition 15%
As good as those prices look, that website is the worst and I don't suggest anyone buy a single thing from them.

Some UP Records scores. Sort of coincidental that some of my best purchases have been records they released.
- every Duster record for $10 each from UP
- sealed copy of There's Nothing Wrong With Love by Built to Spill for $50
- really good condition copy of Building Nothing Out of Something by Modest Mouse for $40
and another unrelated one, the ORG pressing of Sister by Sonic Youth for $5

Be patient and hopefully you will find one. I found a sealed copy a few years ago in Seattle. Needless to say I bought it and almost didn't have money for gas home, but oh well. Soooo worth it.
Edit: not like you aren't being patient already, haha.

I love this album so much.

Continuing a tradition I started last year, listening to the Built to Spill discography on Christmas Eve. So festive.
Hear, hear. Going to do the same. Built to Spill, music for every season.

It took me and another person to get the sleeves back in.

Pictures?
Yeah, give me a little bit and I got ya. I won't be home for a while.

This. My heart jumped and my jaw dropped.
-
I think it belongs in the rock n roll hall of fame.
-
I got my cream splatter today here on the west coast as well. Beautiful release as always and reminds me why Robo are one of the best around.

My New Year's resolution is to continue being the same piece of shit I've always been.

Ugh, another idiot who thinks the words collector and collective are interchangeable.
