  1. Got the full download from DW last night. This is better than Laughing Stalk.
  2. In for the red! So happy that one of my all-time favorite bands is getting a proper vinyl treatment. Hiss is the heaviest material I have ever heard out of DEE.
  3. They are responding to the demand. I wish the pressing of Stranded Under Endless Sky 12" I did back in the day sold this well .
  4. Went the Amazon route since there is no mention of a limited press from Warp; much better deal than Bleep.
  5. Grabbed it from iTunes while working. Listening right now. Really good. Typically moody story-telling by Kozelek accentuated by the minimalist electronics.
  6. Mine arrived in fine condition. Cannot wait to spin it!
  7. Sounds like a mixture of Synergy, Undeceived and Burial. Don't love the clean vocals.
  8. http://extol.indierecordings.no/ Looks 100 - 200 on grey vinyl with loads of bundles. Not sure if there are too many fans on here but I went ahead and picked up a copy on grey. Facedown Records will be handling US orders and I have not heard if they will be doing a vinyl version.
  9. Anybody noticed that they changed the name of the release to the two individuals involved?
  10. http://veritasvinyl.storenvy.com/products/1117438-victor-griffins-in-graved-debut-vinyl-lp VERY limited LP in gatefold packaging, comes in three different colors of vinyl. Pressing info: 100 White Vinyl 100 Green Vinyl 100 Black Vinyl Includes digital download. In~Graved, the new band led by former Pentagram and Place of Skulls guitarist Victor Griffin, will release their self-titled debut album in Europe and the U.K. on Friday, March 22 via Svart Records and in the U.S. on Tuesday, March 26 via Veritas Vinyl The debut self-tilted album was produced by Travis Wyrick (Place of Skulls) and founding guitarist/vocalist Victor Griffin (Death Row, Pentagram, Place of Skulls). The album was recorded at Lakeside Studios in Knoxville,Tennessee and engineered by Travis Wyrick & Mike Dearing (Place of Skulls) with cover art by Richard Schouten (Place of Skulls, Massacre). While closing the books on Pentagram and Place of Skulls in 2012, Victor Griffin invited drummer Pete Campbell to join him in the studio to record a new album. With no name, no members, and a batch of unfinished material… they cranked out 8 tracks in just under a week and Pete went home. But much was left unfinished. An invitation was then extended to some of the best bass players around with Guy Pinhas, Ron Holzner, Greg Turley, Marty Swaney, and Dan Lively accepting. Meanwhile, keyboardist Mike Puleo was making his contribution. Then with great enthusiasm… the timing was right for Jeff “Oly” Olson to join and bring the Hammond organ alive on the rest of the album! This is a pre-order item, official release date is March 26th. http://www.roadburn.com/2013/02/victor-griffins-in-graved-track-premiere/ For orders in Europe please visit www.svartrecords.com
  11. Cannot wait for this to drop. any idea when pre-orders of the deluxe vinyl will start to ship? Standard 'week before release date'?
  12. Actually this looks like it might be my best bet. 13" x 13" x 13". http://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/S-4317/Corrugated-Boxes-200-Test/13-x-13-x-13-Corrugated-Boxes
  13. Does Bags Unlimited still have the best choice for boxes to ship vinyl in?
  14. So where is the best place to purchase boxes to ship all of these?
  15. If anyone wants one I will sell them for $10 ppd. Just hit up [email protected] for paypal.
  16. Little steep for the vinyl option but I will likely do it anyway just to support the band. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/star....ently_launc hed Starflyer 59 has been around for just about 20 years. For the first time ever, we'd like to produce and release a full length completely on our own (with your help, that is). We're grateful to the label we called home for the last two decades, and especially to Brandon for all of his support. Couldn't have done this without him so far... But we're excited to give this a shot on our own to see how it goes. That said, we still want to make a self-produced record that sounds legit, which always requires funds. We'll need to rent studio time and special gear, and hopefully hire out some of the same folks who have helped us mix and master our records in the past if we raise enough. We want to have real artwork done by a pro artist and put the thing out on vinyl and digital only; no CDs ... If you're gonna have physical media these days, it should be vinyl, right? We hope there are some things on this list that are worth your pledge... We're excited to get to work on this and make the best record we can. Thanks for listening for all of these years and thanks for giving this a shot.
  17. I am unloading all of my Hammock "Stranded Under Endless Sky" 12"s to the band to sell on their store and need a good/slow/cheap way to send it to them. Any ideas?
  18. And I will just drop this here as a hint for the next single being announced....
