I'm seeing him in November, i'll see what merch he has then. I'm so excited.

I dunno if you've seen him on this tour (or ever before), but if not I'm fairly confident in saying it'll probably be one of the best gigs you'll ever go to.

I saw him perform HCE twice and both times were absolutely incredible. Very jealous of you going, I really wish he was doing one more UK date before wrapping up the tour.

The new game will have its OST released on vinyl by iam8bit, btw. iam8bit haven't announced it, but it was confirmed by the dev. It probably won't happen until next year, though.

IIRC the rights to the old ones still belong to Sega, so those could be done by Data Discs, I think. I guess we'll see :)

    It's Golden Axe 1 & 2! Fuck yeah!!

  3. Rather than start a new thread, I figured it's easier to post this here. From SW's Facebook page:

"Happiness III will be released as a 7 inch and digital single on 14th October. This song was originally on the 4 ½ album mini album released at the beginning to the year, but a special 3.35 edit has been created for this single. The full length version has also been added to the CD edition of the Transience compilation (released on 16th September). The B-side is a live recording of David Bowie's classic Space Oddity, recorded live at the Hammersmith Apollo Theatre on 27th January 2016, and performed as a duet with Ninet Tayeb. You can watch a video of the performance here...

The 7 inch is a limited edition of 3,000 copies in a new portrait picture sleeve (taken by Susana Moyano), and can be pre-ordered now from Headphone Dust and Burning Shed.

So it appears the John Dyer Baizley pop-up shops is skipping the cleveland show tomorrow night. Anybody else planning on going to any other Baroness show and might be able hook me up with some art?

Ha, literally just popping in here to ask this question. I'm in the UK though!

Wanted a Four Horsemen print for god knows how long. If anyone in the US, Australia (pikey0032 I'm looking your way!) or NZ can help me out I'd be grateful.

    WHAT!

can you link me to information about this?

    Edit: Found this http://news.sky.com/story/southern-rail-staff-to-stage-48-hour-strike-in-september-10548696

I guess it won't affect anyone travelling from the North down to Kings Cross, which is good, but I really feel sorry for everyone who may not be able to make it to the gig as a result of this.

Yeah I think you'll be alright, not sure who operates those lines though. I live in the south (East Grinstead), and commute up for work etc. Every time they've been on strike my last train home is 6pm, and if I don't make that I'm pretty much stranded, so that's fun...

HOPEFULLY they'll call it off. They have in the past. Tickets don't go up until Friday next week anyway, so fingers crossed!

  6. Fuck yes! Opeth have announced the following for the Wembley Arena show that I have tickets for. So excited!

It's with great pleasure that we can announce Opeth will be playing the famous  Sydney Opera House on February 6th, 2017!
In addition, to celebrate the re-issues of Damnation & Deliverance and the Lamentations Vinyl earlier this year, the Sydney show will see the band play an opening set comprised of these two albums, followed by a second set where old and new tracks will be played. This special set list is also extended to the Radio City Music Hall show in New York on October 1st and to the The SSE Arena, Wembley show in London on November 19th.

I have a shit load of posters in my room, a few signed ones (Paradise Lost, Collide, Epica and Jimmy Carr), loads of Ghost in the Shell posters and many more other bands/films etc, but only one lithograph print that I still haven't found a good frame for! (it's a signed Royal Albert Hall print from Steven Wilson's shows there last year). I'd photograph the Wilson print but I can't get it to lay flat without a frame!

I was at that SW gig, but only for the 2nd night. Great show, would love to see the print once you have it framed.
