I'm seeing him in November, i'll see what merch he has then. I'm so excited.
I dunno if you've seen him on this tour (or ever before), but if not I'm fairly confident in saying it'll probably be one of the best gigs you'll ever go to.
I saw him perform HCE twice and both times were absolutely incredible. Very jealous of you going, I really wish he was doing one more UK date before wrapping up the tour.

The new game will have its OST released on vinyl by iam8bit, btw. iam8bit haven't announced it, but it was confirmed by the dev. It probably won't happen until next year, though.
IIRC the rights to the old ones still belong to Sega, so those could be done by Data Discs, I think. I guess we'll see
It's Golden Axe 1 & 2! Fuck yeah!!

Rather than start a new thread, I figured it's easier to post this here. From SW's Facebook page:
"Happiness III will be released as a 7 inch and digital single on 14th October. This song was originally on the 4 ½ album mini album released at the beginning to the year, but a special 3.35 edit has been created for this single. The full length version has also been added to the CD edition of the Transience compilation (released on 16th September). The B-side is a live recording of David Bowie's classic Space Oddity, recorded live at the Hammersmith Apollo Theatre on 27th January 2016, and performed as a duet with Ninet Tayeb. You can watch a video of the performance here...
The 7 inch is a limited edition of 3,000 copies in a new portrait picture sleeve (taken by Susana Moyano), and can be pre-ordered now from Headphone Dust and Burning Shed.

If the unannounced Data Discs is ToeJam and Earl I'm going to lose my shit! The new game looks brilliant, and this would coincide nicely with it being announced yesterday....

DLC. October 25th....
-
Just pre-ordered Bioshock as well. So excited, really can't wait to get back into it them.
I started the DLC for Witcher 3 at the weekend as I want to get through it before Bioshock. Last time I played W3 was a year ago, and man I'm struggling to remember where everything is and how things work....

So it appears the John Dyer Baizley pop-up shops is skipping the cleveland show tomorrow night. Anybody else planning on going to any other Baroness show and might be able hook me up with some art?
Ha, literally just popping in here to ask this question. I'm in the UK though!
Wanted a Four Horsemen print for god knows how long. If anyone in the US, Australia (pikey0032 I'm looking your way!) or NZ can help me out I'd be grateful.

WHAT!
can you link me to information about this?
Edit: Found this http://news.sky.com/story/southern-rail-staff-to-stage-48-hour-strike-in-september-10548696
I guess it won't affect anyone travelling from the North down to Kings Cross, which is good, but I really feel sorry for everyone who may not be able to make it to the gig as a result of this.
Yeah I think you'll be alright, not sure who operates those lines though. I live in the south (East Grinstead), and commute up for work etc. Every time they've been on strike my last train home is 6pm, and if I don't make that I'm pretty much stranded, so that's fun...
HOPEFULLY they'll call it off. They have in the past. Tickets don't go up until Friday next week anyway, so fingers crossed!
-
Well I'm miffed. Just found out that there's a train strike on the only two days they're playing in London, so there's no way for me to get there. Guess that's me not going then...

And they will become...record bowls when my body finally goes.
I see what you did there...
This is something that had never crossed my mind until today. In an ideal world my wife will be sensible and sell them all, and do something nice with the cash. But who knows what will happen and where any of us will be when we go...
-
Oh wow, so this WON'T be Panzer Dragoon? I wonder what it is then...
-
Love the new track, instant pre-order. Really looking forward to this now! The track is certainly better than the new Metallica song in my opinion (ironic considering they started as a Metallica cover band).
Potential London gig only 3 weeks away as well, if I can grab some tickets. Woooo!

Good news! This is now up on Amazon UK, US, and Germany. I've updated my post with links.

Awesome! New JEW is always a good thing in my book

Fuck yes! Opeth have announced the following for the Wembley Arena show that I have tickets for. So excited!
It's with great pleasure that we can announce Opeth will be playing the famous Sydney Opera House on February 6th, 2017!
In addition, to celebrate the re-issues of Damnation & Deliverance and the Lamentations Vinyl earlier this year, the Sydney show will see the band play an opening set comprised of these two albums, followed by a second set where old and new tracks will be played. This special set list is also extended to the Radio City Music Hall show in New York on October 1st and to the The SSE Arena, Wembley show in London on November 19th. -

Inventive like that sound on St.Anger?
I'm just happy when he manages to keep the bpm somewhat constant within a song...
Sorry! Stupid double post...

Good point!
I dunno though, I just feels like the whole song is literally the same offbeat pattern.
I definitely want to hear the album, but I don't think it'll be a pre-order for me.

Not sure how I feel about the new song. Listened to it a few times and it seems "ok". Just wish Kirk would get more solo time, and Lars would do something more inventive...
Hoping a couple more listens and it might grow on me, especially seeing as everyone else has been so impressed.

$75 for Rez. $75! I love Rez but this seems excessive. It's a 2LP with a bonus 7" and an art book.
I would have easily snapped it up if it were more reasonable but this just seems a bit greedy to me.

People who think the earth is flat. How is this still a thing!?

Apparently a "major announcement" is coming on August 24th. I'm assuming it's probably DS3 DLC, but I'm secretly hoping it's DS1 or Demon's Souls Remastered. A guy can dream, right?

I have a shit load of posters in my room, a few signed ones (Paradise Lost, Collide, Epica and Jimmy Carr), loads of Ghost in the Shell posters and many more other bands/films etc, but only one lithograph print that I still haven't found a good frame for! (it's a signed Royal Albert Hall print from Steven Wilson's shows there last year). I'd photograph the Wilson print but I can't get it to lay flat without a frame!
I was at that SW gig, but only for the 2nd night. Great show, would love to see the print once you have it framed.

Amazon UK have the standard black 2LP up for £16.99. If you have Prime then that's a pretty good price in the UK. Also includes AutoRip.
