Why do you suggest I go to a community college? What do I get out of that specifically?

Much cheaper, you can save up the money to finish your Bachelor's at a University, and get your gen ed reqs knocked out. Wish I had done it, tbh. That said, I mean, if you have the money/resources, it's not a bad idea to go to a university all four years. Just... never get student loans. Even if you have to work and not go to school to save up the money. Student loans are not worth it.

Never gotten a credit card... No debt though! Thankfully student loans won't be an issue because scholarships and my mom is willing to pay the rest (I'm so grateful). Textbooks, though... Ay...

It will be max $20 per person. If we have 9 people that puts $180 in the pot. 3rd place would get money back, 2nd would get $40, and winner would take $120. Not a bad pay off to only commit $20.

I can't believe the album is 4 years old already, it feels like only yesterday. I'm glad a lot of you are finally getting to hear it.

Yeah, I think I found it back in 2011 or late 2012. Was so stoked to get the vinyl! It was the 3rd one to enter my collection.

You can only listen to the full album on Youtube (they have some tracks available to play but not all), but this psychadelic-ish indie rock album is literally one of my favorite albums of the decade so far. It's so unique and enthralling. I can't recommend this album enough. Vinyl is expensive to get shipped to the US, so... everyone like their shit so we can group buy!!

I'v always been a math wiz but I never took it thaaaat far. I'm probably just really good at the easy stuff..and geometry.

Counting cards is fun. I used to do it when I played blackjack. Eli, I'm actually banned from the treasure chest for counting cards. And Rez just go watch the movie 21.

Gambling was my early 20s in a nutshell.

 

I don't think they ever explained how the "count" was found, though.

 

Here is the instruction you need to get signed up to play with us. I have already 'created' the tournament for tonights free run trail. So anyone playing needs to sign up on poker stars and then also register for the tournament. It will be starting at 8PMEST. This is tournament style. Playing down from 9 or so players to only 1 remaining. If/WHEN real money is involved there will be payouts for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. 

 

For tonights game I have set the starting chip stacks at 3K. Blinds go up every 15 minutes. And there will be a few breaks to make additional tacos. As I am the mod on the actual poker stars client all I have to do on my end is accept your request to join the club on the app and then you guys just need to register for the tournament I have created. So get to it if you're in for tonight! 

 

Also, the "home game" feature that we are using to play this is only accessible through a PC/Mac. You wont be able to run this software off of your mobile device or tablet.

Ohhh waiit, yeah, don't they use "infinite decks," ie decks with way more than 52 cards to make counting cards impossible or something?

It is about 30% tho, so close enough. If there's less people, though, that percentage goes down.

But still, if there's 3 cards in the flop, and 9x2 = 18 cards in people's hands, that's 21 cards out of play, and 52 - 21 = 31, 9/31 is <36% :B

 

Again, that's just what's going through my head. Not doubting your method.
