Last time Thou played here, they did a collaboration set with The Body. It was the same night as another show I had tickets too (deafheaven). Really wish that would've been one show.
Damn that's some shitt.

who up
stomach is keeping me awake.

Listen to Thou? You live where they live. Go have your fucking face blown off at one of their shows. They are amazing live. And loud as all fuck. But until then, yes, GO LISTEN TO THOU ELI.
WHAT SHOULD I START OFF WITH

Ask him if he has any old In Tomorrows Shadow CDs. That was the death metal band I was in in high school. He put us on his label and self produced our entire record. Bryan is a god.
Hopefully I'll remember that! He seems like a really cool guy. I need to actually fucking listen to Thou though. How have I slept on that.
Also, you called me DarcX... Just call me Eli. And if you can't remember, Darc, is fine.

Whoa, never heard of them! I'll ask Bryan about it next time I go to Sisters in Christ, hahaha. I love that place. I wish I could afford to go there more often.
-
Yeah ! I've heard a bunch of chatter too. It's incredibly weird
I'm just glad that:
1) I've not seen shit, and
2)That I'm not one of those super rare cases where it lasts for an incredibly long amount of time on occasion (anywhere from 10 min to an hour).

Luckily I haven't had them in awhile but I was getting them several times a night a few times a week. I find that if I sleep with the tv on, it happens less.
When it happens, my eyes are always open but since I'm still dreaming, I see and hear weird stuff. I know it's not real but it's still scary. Like I've seen this old woman standing beside me and yelling. It's crazy because apparently it's very common to see "the old hag". I saw her years ago and and a long time after I find out that it's a common hallucination. I guess another common thing is for people to see things jumping on their chest and choking them which has happened a lot.
Anyways, the cool thing is once you realize it's just a dream, you can easily fall back asleep and lucid dream. That's always fun.
Yeah I've never had sleep paralysis hallucinations like that, but it's super annoying for me. Once I get it, I have to just get up and stay awake. Trying to go back to sleep just always results in getting sleep paralysis again. Luckily it only ever happens with naps, or when I need to get up anyways.

Ready for my shift meal. Might just grab some guac to hold me over.

5 whole months without watching a movie...kinda wish I'd gone longer. It was funny while it lasted.
Just close your eyes or wear a bag over your head. That way you just heard a movie.
And when your friends ask, just say it's for a school project. Or a personal project, fuck. I've heard that listening to a movie is interesting way to take it in.
-
I've fallen under brief sleep paralysis episodes on more occasions than I can count, and the weirdest that's ever happened to me is I heard children's voices playing a park (no park nearby) and one time I felt nauseous during it but right when I snapped out of it I was fine.

I would've been able to sit through all of The Dark Side of the Moon if the fucking vocals actually changed it up once.
And if the instrumentals were less boring.
I don't like Pink Floyd either.

My dad has been presenting me with this huge argument on why he wants me to move back to New Orleans. Basically telling me that when the world turns to absolute shit that I'm currently living in a place where less people believe in god and that if I'm back home it's a much more god believing place and I'll be safer. I was just like dude, are you fucking kidding me? Does your mind truly believe these things? It's fucking mind boggling.
Yeah man. The Sodom and Gomorrah bible story is why they believe that shit.
There is a link somewhere that will log you out everywhere, so do that and change your password.
Oh yeah, haha. I definitely got that covered before coming here. But thanks!

Oy, $30 is a bit much, considering I'm definitely getting at least a CD and shirt from Native Construct, and maybe something from BTBAM. That would be a very expensive day. Maybe I'll sleep on this.

Still no shipping confirmation here. And I get everything delivered to my mom's house, 'cause my apartment can't accept packages, so I'm kinda relying on my mom telling me whether or not something came in.
-
If I did leave it logged in somewhere, they did very strange things. Oh, they also changed my relationship status to "In a relationship," but not with someone. I think it was a bot or something.

Idk much about Catholicism having grown up Mormon but honestly, though Mormonism gets more flack, Catholicism seems just as bad.
Also, good morning everyone. Woke up to find out my facebook was hacked. It changed my profile picture to a picture of a shirtless Justin Bieber, my cover photo to a rainbow background picture to a cartoon cat that read [sic]: "YOU ARE AWESUM!" and updated a status which read "I love kittens. I wish I could spend a whole day with kittens" (which, well, isn't false).

I would use it 90% of the time. Haha.
But if I'm going to answer the question, it was hearing God Is An Astronaut's All Is Violent, All Is Bright and Caspian's You Are The Conductor back in 2005. Every since them I've been in love with the genre. Simple as that.
That GiiA album is also what got me into it. I remember I was really bored one day and plugged my iPod into my TV, and played that album right when some Curious George animated movie started, and I swear it was like a perfect match. I don't know if I'll ever forget that.
I discovered and fell in love with the album before that happened though.

Anyone listen to the new Baroness song? It's badass.
Sounded solid. Not much to complain about, not much to be blown away by, though.
-
I got the SRC e-mail too. Strange. I have ordered from them exactly once, though.
-
Holy fuck that sounds delicious.
-
So are you speaking in third person too now? Seems weird to blame yourself for it.
He's talking about the third person as the first person, actually. very meta
-
Why are you talking in third person? Haha.
It's a southern thing

I've applied for like 4 jobs this last month and never got any calls back. The optimist in me wants to believe it's because I listed my experience as a manager or something and they thought I had a commitment, but otherwise I don't know. There are some really really stupid people I know who have jobs.
Getting jobs can be pretty hard, yeah.

It's 40 degrees, and do you think I have a fucking lawn mower. Haha.

I started this morning with hurrying up to get ready because I already skipped my first class of the day on Monday, I don't want to make this a streak. v_v
But good morning, all! That is a great idea, Jason! But I've only purchased from two people here… I'd have to be a creep. :x
Also, Chuck, I saw you followed me on Instagram, I am so jealous of a doppelgänger vinyl.
