Belvidere, right outside of Rockford.Guess its just started to bother me over the years, that in every collecting community, there always seems to be so much sh*t-talking. Its bad enough that people already make fun of us for collecting things to begin with...lol

Why wait? Where do you live? I think the most prevalent think I've seen since joining here is people ridiculing others for what they listen to. You going to the Disney thread next to make fun of every poster in there? I see the same thing in sports card/memorabilia collecting forums, and it's pathetic when it happens there too.

Thanks for the info Travis. From this point, I won't bother with CS, unless its for an order. The two stores closest to me are going to call if they get a copy in for me. I do realize HT is not a record store, but I'm 36, so its the only reason I go there...lol

I agree, Travis is awesome. He just seems to be the only one in the entire company with a clue.

Prime example. Called a store today. Nice girl there told me her systems shows 200 online...obviously not the case. She calls CS for me and calls me back to tell me they have them available for ordering over the phone. I call...wait on hold 20 minutes...CS rep I talk to can't even find it in the system. I call the girl at the store to get the item # Give it to the CS rep, and suddenly she's able to find the record. However, it shows as out of stock/not for sale. See how I'd get a bad impression?

MCR came out at 2:00am. This comes out...sometime... Customer service and store employees know Zero about records.

Yeah, I have it followed. Guess I'm just slightly put off by HT's release practices.

I know, I know. I'm just annoyed because I was home all day, and now I'm stuck at work for 10 hours, thereby relegated to using the inferior mobile versions of this site and HT.

I'm actually pretty excited about the idea of Mark, Travis, and Matt. I've never been a fan of Tom's voice, honestly.

The customer service people that I have ever talked to, know absolutely NOTHING about record sales.

Just got off the phone with customer service. They show none in stock at the warehouse or online. Its amazing how CS knows absolutely nothing about record releases. Any validity to the fact that I was told only 200 will be available online?

And he relisted it for $495...

So I just talked to two stores in my area about ATL. Their system shows 200 on the website, and the other copies being shipped to stores on 2/25. Yet no stores have their copies yet, and the website has had nada.

Not today, it seems so far.

If Tom needs to "make money while he can", then he's been doing it wrong for a long time.

They just put about a hundred new items on the site..none of them records.

Seems to be no hurry to put these on the site.

That's what people said about the MCR releases, and they pressed twice as many of those.
