twas not expensive. $15 record. This was his message, "Hey man. Just received the vinyl; however, it is unplayable. It is warped on the right side. Any ideas as to what to do? Do you have an extra and we could swap? Sorry for the bad news."

I sold a record off ebay, twas basically brand new, only opened to check colour. Sent it out and all that jizz, but he basically said it's warped and asked what I could do? I'm not sure what to do... am i supposed to give this guy a refund? I don't want to, but I don't want that negative feedback and I wanna be an honest seller so I was gonna just have him ship it back to me and I'd check it out, but it sucks cuz I know it was totally brand new and probably just got fucked up in the mail what to do?

I don't blame you trav... always in retail there are good employees and bad employees. I've worked retail so i know how it is... i think the guy at the orange store was a manager cuz he asked for their names and said i'll take care of it... but i told him i didnt want to get anyone fired or anything like that haha

I had a pretty bad experience with HT employees to a good one. I went to the Irvine spectrum last night to see if they had them, and the employees said, "sorry they sold out the first day" and i saw it right behind the register so I asked about it and she said it was for her. When she was looking it up to see if other stores had em, I saw another one and asked if they were holding that one too, another employee chimed in, "oh that ones mine". wow thanks hot topic employees.. (Although to be fair, she was helpful in telling me the block had 4.) Except when I called to see if they'd hold it for me, she told me they didn't have them.. I then asked if she could check the back and she said no. (Thanks again HT employees.) I decided to drive there this morning to check if they had em and sure enough there were 4 on the floor. The employees at the orange store were actually sympathetic and told me that was BS how the employees were holding them since they weren't supposed to do that and gave me a 10% discount on it. Much respect to the 2 dudes that work there. Yes, there should be copies at the block in orange if anyone's interested..

On the delivery confirmation, did it pass through Bell, Ca? The delivery confirmation on a package that I am expecting has not been updated since it got there and that was 4 days ago. Another package that I mailed is also in Bell, CA and that was two weeks ago. These were all media mail by the way. Actually, yes it did pass through Bell. But it arrived in Bell and left the next day... It was scanned in Orange, so I don't think there's a way it's stuck at Bell, CA. Did u get your package okay? I called the post office last week and they basically said jackshit and wrote down my info. Said they'd call me within a week, but they didn't. So I physically go there today and they don't have my package, all they say is, ' talk to your seller. he's responsible'. I would've told her off except she was a nice older lady and didn't want to be mean. Ahhhh so frustrating. I hate the USPS!!!! Thanks for the update andy. If I just receive 1 JD by the end of the month, I'll be stoked.

I actually thought I did give the wrong address since I haven't heard back from anyone. I checked my outbox and typed everything perfectly. Had 1 guy verify that he wrote what i typed. but thanks for that input I live at a house. Don't have any shady neighbors or anything. It's mostly nice old people who wave every time they see you in the neighborhood. I just hope you guys are correct when you talk about slow shipping. My record to PA arrived 8-24 and to SC arrived 8-27 and this was all done through Media mail AND on top of that we sent our records at the same time....which is why I'm thinking it's a lil' bit too late to be slow shipping. I hope you're right though.....

i mean, i am kind of shady. having a secret identity and all. also, i'd take a picture of the delivery confirmation slip, but i threw it away when i checked the tracking and it said it had been delivered. i think having a tracking number for it kinda proves that i sent it though. Like I've stated above, I don't blame you in the slightest and do genuinely believe you sent it out for multiple reasons. Buuut I'm just confused as to what to do next? I didn't want to drop usernames/names/addresses because all the people i talked about are actually regular users who post here.... They were pretty reputable which is why I wasn't really hesitant on trading. It's just that if they said they sent it, I don't know what to do? for TRADING?? I sent out 3 jane doe's to 3 different people and never got anything back.... from all 3 people. I'm kinda bummed out right now, but from all the PM's I feel like they're honest people. For 1 girl, I believe she is telling me the god's honest truth, with even providing me a delivery confirmation. I don't blame her in the slightest. When I look it up, it says the item has been shipped on the 18th and delivered at 08-23. I mean do I have to go to the post office and tell them my package never arrived? not sure what to do... another guy told me to wait on it. even though he told me he shipped it through priority and it's been 2.5 weeks. he seems genuine, but still not sure what to do. i hate getting the response, 'oh it's in the mail just wait for it...' the last guy is basically telling me the same thing the other guy is. he told me something about the post office lagging cuz of the holidays. but shit.... it's not like it's christmas.... Have you had bad trading experiences? What can you do???? Not much I guess....?

my 3 copies came in today. turns out all 3 are white. i'm pretty bummed after looking at everyone's different colors, but not gonna complain. i was a lil late in my preorder, so i'm just glad i was able to snag a copy. this record is amazing and as i'm spinning the 3rd track, it all still sounds amazing. oh yeah, i absolutely love the book. if anyone wants a white to trade plz PM me.

how strange innocence has been on my list. EITS's first album. /300 with 5 diff colors means like 60 per color. i see them pop up on ebay every once in a while but i see them go from 300-500.... way too much

I actually thought the same thing too. I thought near the end with leo and his wife when she said something like 'the fbi & international ppl are all in your head' i could've sworn we were gonna be in either the wife's dream or leo's. also: (someone correct me if i'm wrong) everytime he's in the dream world, he has a ring on. in the 'real' world he does not. And in the final scene, he does not have his ring on.

bought one at brea mall in So. Cal 2 days ago. called tustin, orange, irvine, cerritos and only the brea one around me had them. I think i saw 3 more on the shelves.
