I have similar preferences. I laughed when the new split was announced because I thought "went from 3 colors to 2, now to just wait for the single yellow". But, kudos to them to having the tri-color match the colors of the sleeve. I really don't like color-for-color-sake approach when it doesn't match the artwork.

I'm doing the same thing. The prices are a bit high on these. I'll wait for a sale. I pulled the trigger day 1 on Live at Hammersmith b/c I couldn't wait, and that one was on sale a lot within 6 months.

There is a special place in heaven for shop owners who sell RSD leftovers on Discogs at list price. Got Pearl Jam. 

I’m late to the game. Who still has upcoming online sales? Did not find Pearl Jam yet. 

I keep looking at the list but nothing at these prices or pressings excite me. 

I wish there was a Tracks boxset. But I would instantly buy The Rising b/c the original press is so expensive. 

Are there any plans for the vinyl release, or are we all just hoping at this point?

I remember this removing the bad taste of Pay Attention. It's a great album, and probably their last that has a few songs in the ska-core vein. Bought the original press last year, glad to see this is getting another pressing. Hopefully Pin Points and Gin Joints is next b/c I still haven't found that one.
