Received mine today.... Good news is the packaging and wax look awesome. Bad news is that I ordered the three pack and all three jackets arrived beat up (particularly corners). Haven't listened yet....

I'm not sure why it's so hard to believe that Hot Topic would get 650 out of the 1000 records. They are a HUGE chain with over 690 stores in the United States, a web platform, and sister company Shockhound (which also carries the yellow vinyl). The brown pressing on the other hand is really only sold from Victory Records' web store, and a few other random web platforms. Again, the numbers I reported came directly from Victory records. I'm not sure why this is such an ordeal?

About a month or so ago I sent an email via their "Site Help" at victoryrecords.com. I selected "I have questions about placing an order or payment options" and asked about pressing info. The guy responded very promptly with the numbers that I provided.

What?... no. Yellow is exclusive to Hot Topic. Brown is not.

I think it's fair to say that any record can be found cheaper than it's going rate... if you're lucky and are in the right place at the right time. I've heard this place was amazing! I don't know if it's still there or not. Ironically, I've heard super good things about all record stores in Bloomington from friends. Maybe this is the one they say they never visit. I'd be surprised if anyone says this place is amazing... their used stuff is pretty worn and way over priced. Bloomington actually has two pretty cool record shops: Landlocked Music, TDs

Haha, yeah I checked Amazon only a couple hours after leaving the store and he had already listed it. It was priced for $14.99 on the shelf and he has it listed for $88.00 on Amazon... which is a bit of an unrealistic price, actually.

This record store is awful. I went in today, spent time flipping through their records. Most everything was overpriced, but I found two out of print records by a UK band that I like, so I picked them up along with two other records that I've been meaning to buy. Over-all, my order was going to be about $65 for the four records I was buying. I went up to the counter to check out, and the owner apparently was looking up the records on Amazon.com while ringing me up. He realized that two of the records were out of print and worth more than he had them priced so he refused to sell them to me. Why would someone want to spend their time digging through their shelves to find a good deal, for him to refuse to sell it to them? Talk about a waste of time. This is simply an FYI to anyone who lives in the area or will be in the area. Don't give this guy your business.

Yeah, the new Sigur Ros album is like that too... and it's obnoxious.

I picked this up today and was glad to see that they pressed the album as a double, but disappointed that they put both LPs in a single sleeve.... no gatefold or anything. So far the sound quality seems good.... still on side A.

It came out in 2004, and I'd say the pressing quantity would likely be closer to 1K than 3.

How did you come up with a few copies of this? I Just bought a bunch when they came out because I knew that it was a short run and they'd be rare...
