Cool thanks. It would let me buy 400 if I wanted if anyone has 6 grand I can borrow.  450 was too many. I didn't narrow it down between that.

How can you tell how many are left? I bought a tape. But I was thinking of buying an extra in case I ruin it and there won't be any left down the road. Maybe I shouldn't wait a week?

I would spring for those Helium ones but with RSD being this weekend it's just gonna have to wait.  Hopefully they'll stick around a while.

I will purchase it. When my local gets it (I asked them to get it today). I liked it when I streamed it, but this will be a nice one to split up into sides for easier listening.

Them saying the reason only 500 pressed is because that's all they could afford is understandable but at the same time also lame. ? I'm sure someone could have and would have put up a few bucks make more! There obviously is demand. 

Just checked myself and got one too! Bundled it with the Neil Halstead Palindrom Hunches press too because why not. 

I only just noticed this one last week. I actually emailed them to see if I could pick it up from them, I'm 1/2 hour from Bloomington. But I never heard back. They must not have liked that question! Amazon has the book for $35 so $40 for the bundle did seem like a good deal before the shipping. $9+ for shipping it 30 miles to me is lame... I also inquired at my local store, maybe they have a good hookup with Secretly, and was told nope. Strictly available from their site. I'm going to order soon before it's too late anyway despite the shipping before it's too late...

fwiw, Mountain Goats' manager tweeted this morning that the deluxe "pre-order is almost sold out"

I actually asked him if the 3LP would be available in stores (same as all other Merge limited versions) and he said no plans at this time. But Bullmoose is getting it? I hate pre-ordering stuff and then end up seeing it at my local on release day(they are usually cheaper than most online places). Any thoughts on whether the 3LP version (I don't need the CD or pin) will show up in stores? I'm going to ask my local next time I'm in but I don't want to miss out. I'd actually really like to check out the ambient songs.
