I am obsessed with the way people list records on this board. I noticed that you choose italics and bullet points, and co-mingled 7"s and 12"s. Interesting...
lmfao idk why i actually laughed out loud
-
i think there is only like 240 of each variant pressed too so these will be hard to find for sure. id be stoked if they pressed the first two LPs
-

Same. I can't wait to get one for myself--even if it's just a black copy. Gonna buy for the board though. Anyone need one internationally/just want one because they might sell out?
if you could get me one id be eternally greatfull! have work all week/weekend and wont be able to go anywhere.

Superfan has been doing a great job with these releases. And they're being mastered for vinyl, as well. So none of the "digital-to-vinyl" ish.
i agree, very well done. the groove spacing on mmhmm i noticed was very different than the original 2004 press, any idea why that might be?
-
this is a hot topic exclusive as apposed to the retail/amazon I'm assuming right?
-
Maybe, but they also said they'd never do Self Titled and now they are considering it. I mean why not repress the 7" - it'll be like printing money.
damn didnt mean to get hopes up for no reason. this definitly isnt it then. something is kind of cool about that release never being repressed though. makes it special imo
-
-
also what are everybody's thoughts on the fact that they don't seal the vinyl? at first when they repressed mmhmm i was pretty disappointed. not like it matters that much, but youd think even if they didnt seal them they would at least be shipped outside the sleeves to prevent seam tears. idk just always wondered about that.

Forget and Not Slow Down is gonna look sick on opaque brown!! , also happy to hear that bee sides is getting the vinyl treatment. They said they're going to do something a little different with it so i wonder what that means.
also whoever said "Apathetic EP" should get pressed is a genius, that would be a beautiful 10" imo

can sombody delete this topic? it wont let me

Yeah, I'd suggest going to this thread and posting about it...it's already been discussed/confirmed:
thank you. i was trying to find the thread to post in, didnt know it had already been confirmed

Until just now nothing had ever been mentioned about a possible pressing of the Relient K double release "The Bird and The Bee Sides/The Nashville Tennis EP".
Never thought it was a big enough release to warrant a pressing. Until i asked on the Superfanvinyl (SMLXL) Instagram.
Not sure what "something a bit different" means but im excited none the less.

wont let me pm you for some reason, is this closed?

what was the link?

how to they go about giving them out to the employees? just curious

If you follow this band you know theyve never had physical releases. Not too soon afrer they annonce and start selling their sophmore release "Freudian Slip", they are forced to change their name. Some band named "the villians" sent a legal notice over or something.
ANYWAY
The vinyl pre orders were up and running well before this happened, and the band stated on their facebook that the vinyl WAS delayed because of the name change. (the new name is "yuth forever" btw)
only somebody posted a picture of their vinyl with the original villians cover on it...
so im now wondering if somehow the band stopped production and changed the sleeves mid-order? if they did there is probably no telling how many of the original covers made it out of the factory.
does anybody have one/have any info on this discrepancy?, please let me know.
also for the reason i put this topic in this section, i am very willing to make a substantial offer on an original unchanged vinyl if anybody has one they'd like to sell.
sorry for the essay,
Chris

If anybody happens to have "the discovery" or the "EP's" i will shoot a generous offer your way! been looking for these for a long time.
