yeah, while i love saki in general i've never had great luck with them during RSD due to their lack of real-time inventory.

here's my saki black friday RSD 2014 timeline-

11/28 (aka black friday) i place a $136 order for six titles.
12/2 (the following tuesday) i follow up because i hadn't heard about my order, i get a reply within 30 minutes that they're short-staffed due to illness

12/9 (eleven days after my order) i write to cancel half of my order because i still hadn't heard from them so i got it at bull moose instead

12/10 i hear back that they still have two 7"s i was looking for, but i've bought one of them at goner in the past day, so i just end up buying the one 7" from saki

i've got a fairly complete pollard vinyl collection- at least 90 LPs and another 90 7"s... according to discogs i'm only missing five gbv LPs, two pollard LPs, three circus devils LPs and a few 7"s...

as long as you stay on top of it as it comes out, it's pretty manageable. filling in those last few LP gaps for under $30-40 have proven to be tricky. the few missing 7"s i've just been lazy/cheap about as they're still mostly in the $10-20 range.

i tracked one down in the online melee a week after RSD when UK stores could list leftovers... very much worth it, especially since the 1995 LP version never included the 12-minute track "kim's dirt" from the CD.

Question for people with framed prints. Where do you go? And how much does it cost? My print is about 18 x 30 or so.. I know Michaels always has coupons but shit is still so expensive... I guess I should get accurate measurements and I could possibly find a frame that's fit for my print

we always go to michaels. when i was in college i did the ikea frame thing but having a frame that is sized properly (rather than one that is simply bigger than the poster), a nice double-matte and real glass makes a huge difference. with the typical 60% off coupon most posters come out to $110-$150 framed.

no news to report but i just put in a ticket with Indiegogo for a 'terms of service' violation on the project in the hopes that they can go after Shorebird.

rather than keeping a spreadsheet or moving things from folder to folder i just star things in gmail when i order them. when i receive them, i go through and unstar them... (i do have a 'purchases' label that i give everything as well, but that's mainly for consolidation and easier searching).
