yeah, i have that grey copy too. i figured it was a pretty recent press since i got it in the last few months from jade tree.

End of an Ear on S 1st St. is pretty good. Backspin's also really good. they moved recently, so i'm not sure exactly where they are now but their site is www.backspinrecords.net and yeah i really wanted to check out Snake Eyes, but the guy at backspin said they were temporarily closed at the time, which was a couple of months ago.

the only one i've been to is "Twist & Shout" but I'd highly recommend it. i'm sure there are plenty more to check out. someone really needs to compile a record store recommendation list in this forum.

now that Tower is gone, pretty much your option around here is Good Records on Greenville Ave. ...at least that i've found, i guess. Austin's not far though and they have tons of good places. i dunno, maybe i'm just not looking hard enough here. oh, and if you're willing to make the drive to Grand Prairie, there's a place called Forever Young. absolutely huge, and i've found some pretty good stuff there as well, there's just a ton to look through.

i had the same issue with them, for about the same amount of time. i'd give it another week or so and then get concerned. for me it came right about the time i had been irritated, gotten over it, and kind of forgotten about it briefly, if that helps.

Yeah, what record store do you go to? I live in Commerce and wouldn't mind the drive to Dallas to go to a record store. it was actually one in Roundrock, on the way to Austin. I forget what it was called. Dallas sucks as far as record stores aside from Good Records on Greenville. There's actually a pretty good place near Mesquite, http://groove-entertainment.net/. the guy mainly does mail order but has a small shop, pretty decent selection and he can order in almost anything. you might check it out. edit: And not to get your hopes up, but last time i was in there, which was a month or so ago, he had a copy of "The Artist in the Ambulance" i see you're looking for. If you're still looking you might give him a call and check.
