  1. i think as few people as possible should be allowed to hear the music. seriously though, i dont mind represses so much. Im only attempting to collect a few smaller bands releases right now, so i dont know if i even have much room to talk. But it seem that most of the thrill is in the hunt. and after youve completed your collection, what next? you're done and bored, right? The represses keep that hunt alive and make it all the more impressive when your collection is done.
  2. yeah...uhhh....we traded....you owe me like 12 records......
  3. i hire scantily clad women i spraypaint gold to hold them. they also make sandwhiches.
  4. i just checked 27 out and i like it. so is the only way yo get the green vinyl through your site? and i have to pay $26+? (since im in the US) if i order from garment-district the only option is the amber? I really like that green though....

  6. my list: The One Am Radio The Hum of the Electric Air! (clear) The Hum of the Electric Air! (black) A Name Writ in Water (1st press marble gray) thanks.
  7. but i would have never bothered to check out alot of these "little guys'" shows if i hadnt heard their music. I doubt im in the minority when i say that most of what i download, if it's good, i'll buy the album. I'll go to a show and get a t-shirt. Dont act like everyone who downloads is a theiif becuase that couldnt be further from the truth. Most of my music purchases over the last 2 years have been a direct result of downloading a good album. The only people downloading hurts are the bands that put out shitty music. If your music is good, people will want to hear it. They might download it at first, but as long as its not devoid of all passion, these same downloaders will be at the show. Or buying the LP. The problem with music today is that anyone can make an album. And most of it turns out to be absolute garbage.

  15. that's how you know its yours. ideally itd be great to recieve records perfect straight from pressing, but that doesnt happen. Over the years, i think i've learned to appreciated the little dings and wear rings on my covers and the crackle and pop on my favorite old records.
