I've got all the Abe Sapien and Lobster Johnson comics, and really enjoy them, but as much as I'm interested in BPRD, it seems like I'm way too late to that party. I've picked up a few random issues I've found in dollar bins over the years, but I doubt I'll ever find the rest.

I've been watching a friend's house with no wi-fi (seriously, what year is it?), and as such, haven't had much to do. Picked up a couple books I hadn't read before at the local shop, and so far its been nothing but hits. Found 1-3 of East of West, Lost Vegas, and Sex, and I'm really liking all three so far. Honestly, I've yet to find an Image comic that I don't like, though I'm a bit selective with the ones I do pick up.

Been trying to buy the last 2 issues of Peter Panzerfaust that I'm missing for months now, but god damn have they been selling for a fuck ton since they announced that TV show.

I've seen only a few episodes, sounds promising!

Love that show.

I really don't mind it too much, at least not yet. I'm not really into Daft Punk, most RSD releases, or the Drive soundtrack, so I haven't yet encountered $30 LPs on a regular basis.

I've got corn growing too - and of course, about a week into it, I got a "task" to grow tomacco.

I'm also sure the majority of the money TGA gave them for this release was already spent to rebuild.

One would think they'd be insured...

Just dropped a handful of prints off at the framing shop. Pretty excited to finally get them framed.

PS: Does anybody wear the shirt? I never wear mine, and I'm not even sure where it is...

There's been a working one out since the day of the update.

I don't really see a need, but I suppose if it means never having to see another cassette preorder again and cutting down on clutter in the vinyl subforum, then sure, why not.

Just another subforum for me to ignore, right?

They could've ended it at midnight the day before too. Eventually, there would have to be a last day and people would miss it.

I agree, I was more so just expressing my doubts about that being the reason for pulling it mid-day.

As much as I'd have liked to order it (and would have had I seen the thread sooner), I'm not all that torn up about missing it.

They probably wanted to wrap up the PO and get some paperwork together before the close of business at (presumably) 5 o'clock. Seeing as the PO ran for the better part of a month, I don't think they saw any issue with ending it at a convenient time for them.

Could just as easily get paperwork together and send it off the next day. What's another day in a month?

Bought the Get Dead album. I like the Chixdiggit albums, but have the originals, and don't really have the funds for new copies of them right now.

Awesome we finally got some new decorations with that last update. I just bought my last land parcel, which has left me nearly broke, but now I can focus on finishing placing all the Whacking Day stuff.

The beginning of the title track on this 7" struck me as oddly similar to My Chemical Romance's "Welcome to the Black Parade". Call me crazy...

Just listened to the record today for the first time, pretty fun songs!

Finally got the chance to open my mail and play mine, and it isn't even an exaggeration. Solid slab of vinyl.

I got my order from Different Kitchen.  Everything looks sweet.  FYI, the A side plays at 45 rpm but the B side plays at 33.

I think he wants to follow new content as well, just not certain threads. If I only read followed content, I couldn't pick up anything new.

Yes, that is my perspective. I don't really "follow" too many threads; if it's a preorder I'm interested in, I buy it. My problem is that currently miss threads because they get buried so quickly.

We've been on this new board for nearly a year now (I think), but I still have a hard time figuring shit out on here. Is there an option to "hide" selected threads on this board? So many threads get bumped up to the top every day that I couldn't care less about, which makes it rather difficult to catch new threads that actually interest me. I had to sift through 5 pages of threads this morning just since last night, most of which were the exact same threads I skipped over yesterday and "marked as read". It would save me a good bit of time if I could just erase them from my view altogether once and for all.

If this isn't an option, is there any chance we could see it added? I can't be the only one in this position.

It's whenever they push the update. Usually late morning PST, but it could be the 10th for all we know.
