  1. I have to say that right now is the most exciting time to be into records. Easy to find mostly everything you want, so many new people into it, and the different color variations plants and labels are doing now are just bonkers. I'm so stoked on the whole thing. Anyone with me?
  2. I've got every press of Document #7 too, if you're still looking for one of those.
  3. Yeah definately. I have a box of split 7"s going up after work as well as a pile I've been meaning to file in with the other stuff. I'm hoping to get all that done plus the rest of the non lp sized stuff tonight and ill start with lps tomorrow morning. I should have started this years ago.
  4. Its up for grabs. I also have some of the splits and get better on black to list when I get home.
  5. Starting a list of your record collection this late in the game is a pain in the ass. I did three boxes of 7"s last night and still have a box and a half to go but I'm already itching to trade. I've got a bag full of mailing supplies waiting to be used. Not all is for trade/sale but if you see something you want shoot me a PM!
  6. I meant I upgrade more so because I get real excited when I know stuff is on its way and I want other people to get their records as fast as reasonably possible. They paid or traded for it so there's no reason to keep someone elses stuff. I don't mind waiting for records especially in a trade but I can be totally impatient when it comes to ordering from a label or distro. I don't fire off emails or complain I just get bummed when there's nothing in the mail. I usually order a good amount of stuff so who wouldn't be excited to get a dozen or two records in the mail?
  7. I rarely ship media. I say I'm going to and when I wak into the post office I always upgrade shipping and I always get the delivery confirmation as well. Anything over $20 or $30 generally goes priority.
  8. I was supposed to to go Chicago to see them but I couldn't. I would love to see those guys again. I'll always remember when they played here with Leatherface. Incredible.
  9. Just started my list. A Box and a Half of 7"'s to go and then onto bigger sizes. I've got a bag full of bubble mailers and a ton of cardboard. Let's trade! http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=p9qJpYxCcPwg2f9mCL_kyeg
  10. I was just going off their measurements. Mine is still in the tube until I get a chance to go and get a frame but good thing you brought this up. Thanks!
  11. Wow, that's harsh. The bag was supposed to be like makeshift bubble wrap? haha This record got to me ok thankfully as i've wanted it for sometime but always missed the winning bids on auctions. The worst I ever got was a copy of Opposite of December on Baby Blue and the guy packaged it so that during shipping the record shifted and the spine got stuck to the tape and try as hard as i might it still ripped the spine. Total Bummer.
  12. No I don't, I love it. I do however hate when i get a record shipped to me and it's literally just my record in a bubble mailer, no cardboard or anything. Granted I assume this was done because the record sold for very little and the seller was trying to recoup some cash from the shipping. I've sold records like that before that ended up being totally not worth it too, but i still packaged them so that I know even though I might lose a little cash the person on the other end is gonna be totally stoked. I still can't leave this person bad feedback because I feel like I ripped them off a little but I guess they could have started their auction for more money to ensure it was worth their time but still. Point is, please package your records well. It doesn't take any extra work and it's like maybe another 50 cents to $1 in shipping costs. I'm sorry if this topic has been covered many times in the past but i'm kind of new.
  13. If anyone orders this or any of the other sick shit over at S & D do yourself a favor and buy that kevin leary print. It's fucking incredible in person and it's a super easy size to frame. you'll love it.
  14. The thumbs down was for taking the obvious route on that joke.
  15. I looked around for this just for fun and this is all I found.... http://www.musicstack.com/item/22141079/gin+blossoms/new+miserable but i am still not convinced
  16. my no idea order should be here any day now and i hope that yellow/green caution record is in there!
  17. I love Bertmers stuff and have been waiting for this to come out for about a month now but as of yet i still haven't picked it up. I'm on the fence still and with Hagakure II coming out soon as well as more Kevin Leary prints(hopefully soon) I think I'm going to hold off. It's really nice looking and I like that it's just the line work. If this print lasts til friday i will be shocked. I agree that a S&D subscription would be nice as i place a lot of single orders and pay a lot out in shipping. I'd only hesitate if it was a mixed bag with prints and "concert" posters. There's so few of those that I love enough to actually buy I wouldn't want to end up with a handful of them that I have no use for.
  18. it's a nice TT but $6000 still isn't going to make pearl jam sound as good as a Ramones record on a $100 turntable. No offense to the pearl jam fans of course.
  19. I've got a lot of good records and as said before the indie labels tend to pay a little more attention to the packaging. By the way Martin, congrats on your new baby!
