I know there's a history, like back in the 70s, between the Sabres and Flyers... but it's kind of like our rivalry with the Bruins. It doesn't have the same impact with me like the Devils and Rangers do.

As a Flyers fan, last night was hard to watch. The defense, Pronger especially, looked terrible. Flyers took way too many penalties too. Maybe somebody can help me, why do the Canadiens fans sing the "Olé Olé Olé" song? It's a Spanish soccer/bullfighting chant. It doesn't make any sense to me that a French-Canadian group of fans would adopt the song. Is there any history/reason to this? Shouldn't they be singing "Frère Jacques" or something?

The difference maker in this series has been the goalies. Leighton somehow looks unbeatable, Halak looks like he's out of gas. On the other side, Chicago is looking really good right now. That offense is scary as it's gotten going in the playoffs.

I think the Flyers match up better against the Habs than the Pens of Caps did. the Flyers defense is a bit stronger and we're way bigger than the Habs upfront. It definitely showed in front of the net in game 1. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I forget who it was, maybe Darren Dreger, posted on Twitter that Carter wouldn't play in games 2 or 3. I could be wrong though. I heard the rumor this morning, but I find it a little hard to believe. There hasn't been any talk about him skating or practicing with the team that I've heard. It would be nice to get him back, in the chance the Flyers move on to the finals, and he could get himself back into game shape.
