Guys I am just a passive Screeching Weasel fan, so pardon the amateur style question: Was Kill the Musicians ever pressed to vinyl? I know this was just a collection of old recordings and 7 inches and stuff, but it's definitely my favorite. I feel like I remember seeing something saying this was going to be pressed along with all the represses that have happened... Is there anything close on vinyl that I could get without having to collect 'em all? Thanks! Chuck

Those pics look really nice, but I can't explain how disappointed I am in this record. I really like the band and all of the studio records. Live it just sounds so boring and "adult contemporary". John's voice actually gets to me on this one too for some reason. The topper is in one of the ending songs John says "here is so-and-so, he's from Mexico! he's going to play us a guitar solo!". The guy goes on to play like a full minute of completely awful and off-key guitar work, totally unlistenable. It feels like there's an inside joke that I'm not getting, otherwise it would have been cut. Anyways, great band, not that good of record imo.

enjoyadrian: thanks for the heads up on insound.com, just ordered This album definitely improves with some extra listens, was really disappointed at first, but getting much better. Looking around for the LP, I just remembered why I haven't bought a cd in years. $17 for a CD? FUCK THAT It kind of sucks that vinyl is so expensive, but it sure seems worth it when you compare it to something that costs hardly anything to make and still almost costs as much.

Going for 1234Go Records Oakland and Amoeba SF for sure. Will hit Pearl Records in Sacramento at some point as well, that guy is rad.

There is an "Ogv" after the name of the vinyl on the site and not the cd, anyone know what that means?
