  1. I'm not close to any either but would love to get my hands on one.
  2. I'm not sure if that's what he was talking about, but if it is then that is lame. itunes exclusives bother me enough.
  3. a couple updates regarding the LP, from Vinnie's blog from the Vintage Vinyl "In Store Add" and the first review of the album http://www.punktastic.com/reviews/2879
  4. not saying you paid too much for it, I just think $50 is a lot to spend on something and have it shipped really poorly.
  5. thanks for checking, Ben. There's nothing else you can really do about it, it seems to all be in Vinnie's hands.
  6. despite Interpunk's crazy shipping, I've preordered the whole thing (including a CD). They won't charge my credit card until just before it ships so I've got a lot of time to cancel some items.
  7. I'm am extremely confident that this will be a great album. They're off warner and onto their own label so they have NO one to answer to for their music. The fans were all disappointed with the last album and the band knows it, so this time they'll be coming in with horns at full force. It's produced by Matt Allison, who you may know from records like: Broken Star - The Broadways (1997) Goddamnit - Alkaline Trio (1998) Maybe I'll Catch Fire - Alkaline Trio (2000) Broken Van - The Broadways (2000) Split EP - Shady View Terrace/ The Lawrence Arms (2000) Present Day Memories - The Chinkees/ The Lawrence Arms (2001) From Here to Infirmary - Alkaline Trio (2001) Apathy and Exhaustion - The Lawrence Arms (2002) The Greatest Story Ever Told - The Lawrence Arms (2003) BYO Split Series, Vol. 5 - Alkaline Trio (2004) Unicornography - The Falcon (2006) Oh! Calcutta! - The Lawrence Arms (2006) Mutiny Pop - The Copyrights (2006)
  8. I'm guessing the signed one comes with other stuff that interpunk has neglected to mention (because they might not even know what it is right now)
  9. I haven't even heard the album yet, makes this ten times as exciting.
  10. what i'm hoping is that it's a test press for the fat classic repress series.... that means it'll be the next color release!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is 100% guess/hope BTW noting some of his other tests it could happen nofx propagandi none of those are for the classics, at least that's what the auctions say.
  11. Anthem is awesome. Just as good as Hello Rockview and Losing Streak in my opinion. Another thing is that he's only worked with the band for the past three albums (Anthem, B is for B-sides, Out Crowd) so he's probably more inclined to like those over their older stuff.
  12. when is it supposed to be getting released?
  13. AGREED. Although I would certainly like to see the first Falcon EP too, but not 1/16 as much as I'd like Sundowner.
  14. didn't think it would sell that quickly.
  15. does anyone else think there needs to be some sort of guidelines for signatures? that "team giant signature" thing is quite annoying.
  16. ordered. It's a good album so I'm glad I finally decided to buy a copy. Still think everyone overreacted about the lack of artwork.
  17. like the presidential campaigns need anymore money. The amount of money politicians spend campaigning is absolutely ridiculous.
