love the ventures. I've got a couple LPs and 45s but I've never really considered trying to collect them since there's so many ridiculous japanese presses and the whatnot. Take a look at how many albums they had I remember a few years ago when I first started collecting records there was a ventures 7" on ebay that went for over a $1000. I think it was the first 7" they put out themselves.

well they're still available. you probably won't save much money after paying to ship a record out to somebody.

there's really nothing wrong with only ordering one variation of a record, especially if it's the most limited variation.

it kinda just sounds like buying 12 LPs. The thing I liked about the NOFX 7 inch of the month club is that you had no idea what you would be getting on the record until it arrived.

hate to burst your bubble here but that "limited to 9" thing isn't really significant. They're just the fourth pressing sleeves with records left over from the first pressing, so one could take one of the 3000 records from the first pressing, a fourth pressing sleeve and BAM.
